I did that, with a pair of phaserunners, a Bafang BBSHD and a Leaf 35mm DD. It ripped! Like it literally ripped the aluminum side plate where it attached to the bearing and freewheel right off of the DD motor. 😂 imma do it again, got a new side plate!!
You very smart with not going fat tire very smart but the watts don't add up like that i to have a similar setup bafang been going 3 years same battery and hub motor 1000 w and large battery i upgrade yo a 72 volt controller this winter as well as changing my frame on my bike. Those pre made junk piles dont do upgrades good and very limited but i love ur enthusiasm great even though bro science. Cause i to am guilty of the same all throughout my life.
Interesting stuff, I may do this for my 2nd build, currently running just 1500w48v rear hub with a 52v20ah triangle battery and I shunt modded my stock controller, it's a little flying machine because it weighs very little, but for my next build I want more torque, not really fussed about speed as I can happily cruise at 35mph and top out at 38/39.. Just want a bit more power/torque as I live in a hilly area, although mine does actually fly up the steepest of hills with ease (I only weigh 83kg so I'm not that heavy, it helps). Great vid!!! The suspension seatpost is a great idea, I got one for my hardtail as my spine was feeling every hit.. My build was £800 which I think is cheap for a nippy single motor bike, but I like the 2 motors idea, its great!
@@FitnessSushi lesson learned so it wasnt a complete waste why dont you try lowering the the pressure in the rear tyre to absorb more bumps dont go to low though i encountered a wierd wobble there was slabs i was riding on n my bike started bouncing in time with the casps in the slabs i felt like mr soft riding down the street lol
yeah i was thinking about lowering the psi on the tire. I run them at 55 psi which is within the range of 40-65psi on the tire. so maybe i'll put it down to 50?
@@FitnessSushi the psi doesnt really matter it depends on the weight over the wheel all you want is it soft enough to act like a spring when your sat on the bike and bounce a little you want the tyre to give a little and not stay solid
just went through some trails and bumps through hollywood and so far it hasnt fallen off. Granted i tied that thing down like a beast so glad it survived my 40 mile trip
Nice Trip, Ebike =Quite Riot, 🚲💥💨💨💨

i can never go back to 1 motor. dual motor is awesome!
Nice job on your build. 😊 💯
I have only one 3000W rear hub motor with a 72V battery and i do almost 60mph.
cost more than $1k though

nice
Question. Did you unlock the rear hub motor?
Yup. Had to go to settings to set the max speed
thats why you dont rely on cheap chinese saddle bag
true that! i knew it wasn't going to hold but i was just too psyched to try out the set up

definitely feels a lot better with some air out. thanks!
Not very secure battery... Nice review, though. Go Sur-Ron, and be a real chad😎
