I love the green sparkly dress but echo a few comments here- not sure it totally wows me like your stunning Karen Millen pink or black tulle ones do- those dresses actually take my breath away when you wear them, you look like you’re floating on air when you wear them 🙌🏻
I think the silhouette of the green dress is lovely Lydia but the material and length make it a little mature for your usual glamorous style although it is totally how to feel in it xx

How odd. You don’t deserve any criticisms regarding your headbands or evolving style. You’re happy and growing as a person. Rejoice in that. I’m experiencing the same type of evolution myself. My daily bun is now being complimented and I’m so much happier as myself. Kudos to you. Any antique throw rugs in your new dressing room plans? Or antique design / cocktail books to grace your shelves? They’re beautiful and help with sound and warmth. Rooms evolve. People grow and mature. I know what you mean they aren't festive at all and to be honest I haven't watched most of them .
There is always a danger that going towards classy classic and good quality, one forgets own age and outfits end up suiting more older woman, with fun and youth lost on the way. Best have fun and youthful look while young enough. Plenty of time later on for serious old woman stuff. Green dress is defo for 50+. Fits perfectly, fab material, but not for 30 something.

It was nice seeing you in relaxed gear at end of vlog. It makes you look relatable. Also, the green dress material is lovely but there is something about the waistline thats off. Makes you look bigger than you are. X
Those are my dream floors (the ones she currently has) seems like such a waste of gorgeous flooring in exchange for “busier” flooring. Of course it’s her aesthetic so she can do what she wants

As someone who grew up with made to measure clothes and met many seamstresses whi made my clothes, for the first 30 years of my life, both coat and jacket sleeves at the elbow look bad/gathering in strange way. Coat also at the back from waist band up does not look smooth. So if both computer cut then something seems have gone wrong. It also feels both items have too long sleeves.

Sleeves appear to fit as though they’re not lined, although they must be.

This was a really short vlog 😔, I know she often talks about being in the moment and I totally understand she's a person with a life, but she's not really capturing any beautiful details her outings, like I was excited to see more of where she goes...instead we get the excitement of WHERE she's going and....thats it.... the next scene she's home?... it must be difficult to continue vlogging after so many years, trying to find new material but thats why she has a team to discover things for her to do or hire someone to hold the camera while you have your moments i believe you have arrived in a new level/platform where you NEED to grow to your audience, honestly we dont need NEW things just more footage on the moments that you are experiencing. This 22 minute vlog...kinda gets me nervous like is this the future of the Lydia Millen vlogs?. I've followed you for a while now, I fear that if this continues...your audience will shrink. And I don't want to go anywhere I want to continue seeing your beautiful soul, your optimism is desperately needed in this world ♥️ this comes from a good place no hate no toxic energy just a woman who wants you to continue to thrive and grow your reach in this world.

NB. Do not put cashmere jumpers and wool blazer on open shelves they will get bitten to shreds by moths. I keep mine in individual zipped plastic bags in a cupboard.

I didn’t know what to expect of the green dress when it was on the hanger. But it looks amazing on!
Green dress: like the cap sleeves and the skirt. Your outdoors looks like ours in the Pacific Northwest right now. Lydia, I think you are very wise to downsize the bag and shoe collection. You can only use one bag at a time. You can only wear one pair of shoes at a time. So you might as well pare it down to the items you really use or think you will use and give yourself the space for other things.

Ignore all the comments saying the dress looks too old. It most certainly does not. It's stunning, and it fits impeccably. It does not age you in the slightest, either. It is not for everyone. I'm biased, though. I love it. But it suits you. Wear it.

Girl the headbands are over worn. They give a understated look. Would love to see your outfits without them. Especially with a Birkin. It's giving Madeline school girl. Between the "classic" peices and finding quality the changing style tends to age you. Some of the new peices look like things my grandmother would wear. Hehe

Don’t you feel embarrassed or apologize for loving him so much that it made you cry! You feel things so deeply and that is EXACTLY the reason we all love you so much! I have noticed her style is getting older and older- plenty of time to look old when you get old! These styles can be worn by 60 year old women. I loved all the floaty dresses and pretty colours - it's now just browns, greens ,mustards, etc. The headbands are just constant- is it about looking like " old money"? Be youthful! You are too pretty look dowdy ..

Love the wool dresses. I don't think the green dress is for an older person at all as many comments say absolutely not with bare arms n plunge neckline, but I don't like she shimmery metallic looking fabric, it reminds me of something reptilian but the style is lovely 1950s retro, in a bronze or jade or black satin it wd look nicer.

I started watching Lydia during the pandemic when I lost my sparkle she gave me such empowerment to re brand, have passion and peace watching her videos, I’ve manifested my dream Edwardian house, and walking wardrobe of my own! I really relate to her- I didn’t know who I was my entire life and was quite lost she’s blossomed over the last handful of years and I’m here for it! Go Lydia! I also live in the British country side we are so lucky ❤
