Inspiration Sunday at LOTR Recruiting: What Impact will you Make!?!

What I presumed was a near-death experience on a flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Houston, TX a few weeks ago was just that - a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE 👀🙌
I was in a PANIC for hours afterwards. Grateful to be alive, the next day I interviewed an amazing lady on a show I co-host with Ebony Polk, who helped me to put it all into perspective.
This experience caused me to do a few things:
1. *Reflect:* I took the time to reflect on the experience and the impact it had on my life. I went through all the emotions and could only think about my family!
2. *Reevaluate Priorities:* Since then I’ve had to reevaluate my priorities and goals, making changes and cutting off things that don’t serve me. Continuous personal development is a HIGHER priority on my list.
3. *Practice Self-Care:* I’ve been focused more on my own well-being where my diet, exercise and mental health is concerned.
4. * Set Goals for the Future:* I have been using this near-death experience as motivation to set meaningful and achievable goals that increases my IMPACT on the world.

***Note: I later learned that it was quick thinking by our pilot who performed a “touch and go” maneuver to save our lives because of the turbulence we hit on descent. Basically our option was to run out of runway and crash…
