He's right about it's a long haul. You can't expect overnight longterm success. You gotta put the work in. It was so hard at the beginning! I wanted to quit so many times. But I stayed at it and kept educating and bidding. Each new bid I submitted, I learned how to bid better. And I started winning contracts! After learning the importance of presenting compliant competitive offers to the govt, now I'm ready to go to the next level. I know I'll need a mentor who's been there and know how to take me there. I want to get a bit vulnerable here for you and your channel..on a topic that I haven’t talked about . This year I registered my business beginning of March. I wrote a book and got it published in the same month. My mother passed in the same month of March This year at 51 of a heart attack. Im 32 years old grew up in the worst part of Atlanta being “black” I thought I would grow up to be a rapper, ball player or criminal because those are the only options that I saw around me in my environment. I got my cage code at the end of March the day after my mom passed. I have now successfully submitted 7 proposals and I remember you saying that it takes at least 10 to 20 before you start winning. I am determined to beat the odds. I appreciate you for helping people like me. You have no idea how much gratification I have for you. Keep up the great work I’ll continue to study and as soon as I can afford, I will, pay for your book or any other apprenticeship that you may offer!

Man I spent 8 years in the Marines been on multiple deployments. But recently with rising prices I feel like I am being strangled barely scraping by. There are more days of that feeling you are talking then not.I feel you about being creative and never feeling this way. This is new it’s really hard to be confident in anything when the voice in your head is telling you that you are useless and not smart enough. I’m glad you adapted and overcame 🤙🏼🤙🏼💪🏻💪🏻
I’ve been having breathing issues. I feel better now but I had bad panic attacks. It made me think about my mortality. I really want to do well in my life so that I do better for my family. Came to America alone from Zambia. Long story but I have struggled a lot, but I know that I have so many opportunities here. I had to heal myself and now I am ready. I want to make money so that I can start my sound therapy using crystal bowls to help heal others.

Thanks for all you do❤. I found 3 solicitations got contractors to come onboard called and emailed the contracting officers they didn't respond for the site visit. I'm gonna start again
I don't explicitly say it enough, but it's good to try to get hold of contracting before investing into the bid. If it's something you experience a lot, you can add this to your bid/no-bid criteria as something like "I'm only going to respond to bids where contracting has responded to an initial communication". I understand the frustration with poor communication with KOs and it is the biggest gripe I have from their side of the fence.
Damn, it sounds just like the aerospace industry. It took me a year to decompress from that nightmare industry. I'm so happy they lost every major contract in the past 3 years haha
Hi I am not the youngest person so I’m on a journey were I am ready to be a part of your community my year is going so crazy right now I lost my son I lost my job I don’t know were am going my son was my biggest cheerleader when I told him that I what to do government contracting when I don’t even know where to start he used to tell me mom you got this he passed away at the age of 24 on 1/6/24 now I know today he looking and now am at a point looking at your videos trying my best to learn how to break down these solicitation and I feel like giving up sometimes and I hear him saying mom you got this and I go back at once more so please if there’s help out am not rich but I’m hard working I may step back a bit analyze the fight but I always come back swinging because I know by the by the grace of god I got this
