I have a SEVERAL year old Fuzion Xtreme digital scale that I was about to replace. Bought a new scale and certified weights! As a lark I tested the certified weights on the Xtreme! After all these years it was EXACT! NEVER been calibrated! I sent the newly purchased scale back (EVEN AFTER calibrating was not accurate!!!) My next scale will be a Fuzion! (The 1st one came free with a Volcano)
How do I put a 500 gm. Weight on the Diablo which it asks for, I'm assuming that's adjustable but you don't mention how to do that we all know a nickel is universal at 5gms and a dollar bill at 1gm, so please elaborate of these devices not helpful if unable to answer my ?, I'm sure others also want to know do you need a pre weighed unit to calibrate or can one use basic science as the nickel is 5gm if their good quality scales the wouldn't need calibrated only a tenth off but hey some if us don't have money to waste, please answer how to weigh or calibrate with unit like a nickel or dollar. You need to recalibrate it. The FZ-75 has a CAL button, press it, then press it again, it will flash, then press it again. It will display "50.00g", this is the amount you need to put on it. If you don't have a weight, you can use money, its weight is strictly regulated. In euro, 5*2 euro coins + 1*1 euro coin = exactly 50 grams.
I don't exactly have accurate gram weights laying around, like most people probably.... Any suggestions on everyday items that have a distinct weight that can be used instead?
Money. 5 * 2 euro coin + 1 * 1 euro coin is 50 grams.The weight of money is very strictly regulated. Only problem is if there's grime or dirt on there it might weigh more.
These scales honestly suck. They don’t come with a weight unless you get the other versions which are insanely inaccurate. I have to weigh whatever it is I’m weighing multiple times and see what weight comes up the most to know.
i have the same problem with mine (FX-55); the display is lit and shows no digits/letters. pressing the CAL button does nothing. i used this a couple of months ago and everything was working ok then...

I did everything correctly but it says err instead of pass o have the correct weight and literally just unpackaged my scale

mine stays idle and doesn't even show the 0.0 anyone know hot to reset this thing? models Fuzion Extreme XTR-350
