I appreciate you started from scratch instead of using a build with 10 ubers and just going straight to end content.
Yeah idk leveling has been my fav part since S0, having it completely trivialized you may as well just keep the kyovashad goblin and boost to 60

it is worth to mention that the ptr doesnt have any seasonal quest line, and we can be 100% sure that leveling will be very different, cause they will add rewards in these quests...like they always did.

leveling up isnt suposed to be THAT quick..
leveling is one of those things to look forward to while playing, I really dont understand why one can max out within 1-2 days
I started playing diablo 1 back when it launched, where you used months if not a year to get to max level.
same with Diablo 2, BEFORE party exp and baal exp runs became a thing, getting a charakter to level 99 was a feat.
- then earning the gear was a grind for months, and I liked it.
diablo 4 is like, you play alittle get a level 100, then go do tormented and you get your mythical gears within a few runs.. I mean.. why ?
for me it takes away alot of the fun in progressing your charakter in game, but I still play d4 I love it !
I agree with you. Started with D2 on release and it was such a great experience that lasted an entire year before we maxed out. God I miss those days.
I feel very optimistic by the change to gear. Making drops more like a real reward. It also gives more importance to the character gaining power whilst levelling instead of so much borrowed power from items.

I'm not really looking forward to the next season. My favorite thing to do is level new characters, this season alone I've gotten 8 to 100. Sure, the end game's fun, I enjoy building the power to solo uber bosses, but it's the journey that's best. The timing's weird too. I feel that besides a few stupid nerfs, the current season is great
I hope leveling isn't too fast. D4 team should just remove the concept of leveling completely. It's pointless. Just drop big gear. I've always felt like Diablo was just a teleport trip. Would love if D4 (of D5) was more of a Nightmare AARPG and less forcing me to play an MMORPG. I'm a loner and I want to be the hero...alone.
The evolution of leveling from Diablo 2 to Diablo 4 was a necessary process (I know most might disagree, especially D2 purists).
The aim is to the casual playerbase to feel empowered and ROI for the time they do/n't have.

Not me,no new season nor vessel of h for me.Got really tired of blizzard shit.They're are about to sell us new chapter,new everything but in the same time they are unable to properly and equally ballance classes,powers,paragon,
pasives ann many other things.Every season we literally play whatever blizzard want us to play.Last season nothing but sorc or rogues around.Will take a time and wait for POE 2 and Titan Quest 2
Say 4-6 hours 0-60. But at season start you will only have a few paragon points. So the interesting part is how long until you have all boards online. And gearing seems slower to get build into a good place.
So even if you get to the end-game faster, you will be far from having an end-game character it seems. So the journey isn’t necessarily a lot faster all in all, it’s just different.
Although I really apprecciate the video and fully understand that the ptr can be played by many, I kind of do not feel engaged by these ptr videos right now because I get excited for the new season and can't play. But I will save them for later, in case there won't be an updated version
1 - 60 feels like 1-50 in the live game, because when the season starts we will have 20 odd paragon points not 201 like on the PTR, then we basically have 300 levels to go which are a lot slower than the 1-60 times so I am happy with the way it is on the PTR
Just started from scratch today on a barb and mostly I would agree. I went to “expert” at 27 and it was tough until I got some better gear. At 35 I started to do strongholds and wow, yes they are giving about 1.8 to 1.9 levels per stronghold, can be a little tough if your res is not upto scratch. Just finished at level 45 for today after 5 strongholds. Taking my time about leveling with a NMD thrown in and it’s taken me about 6 hours from 1 to 45. Quite sure if I was not fafing around I could do it a lot faster but then I need to be more efficient at figuring out what I need for leveling. Also using upheaval and as this is the first time I have used it is taking me a little time to get used to it. Love to find out how to make it burn the ground. And if I may say something’s… the lag at times is incredibly bad. The mount seems to get stuck quite often while riding around.

Fast XP, but takes longer to level?
Longer to kill enemies but more ALOT more XP per kill.
Especially in a PTR starting from scratch is the way to test leveling experience etc
Did they fix itemization yet? Or is eveything in the the bland pointless af to do still I said bland instead of game because there is no game to the game items are trash class balance is trash class identity is trash how tf anyone likes this shit I’ll never know .. this game is not a Diablo game and neither is d3 the franchise is dead died with blizz north Diablo 4 is a mobile game for casuals and ppl in denial
Leveling was not fast
The real issue is what they are doing to resists and I don't like what I am seeing. The game already upsets me with its one shot kills on players and that is going to get worse. Seems the Devs don't seem to understand the players enjoy feeling powerful. The devs are making changes to challenge the hardcore all I do all day is play D4 and screwing over the casual dad players that play when the wife isn't looking.
What's the use of NM dungeons now? 🫤
