The teachings and social media turned believers inside out. Now, a church is just a social club where they bring their children to be entertained. A question for pre-trib. Please answer the question Paul warned not to believe that that day was near, so how is that imminent? (2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that THE DAY of Christ is AT HAND.
Outstanding. I like many others was taught the rapture without really reading anything into it. They taught it; I believed it. It's only been from studying the Word and following teachings such as yours, that I have developed a different opinion. My belief is that the pre-trib or mid-trib doctrine is there to appease those in the west that don't want to have any persecution in their lives. We all know that Christians have been persecuted and killed for the testimony of Christ since the day He was taken down off the tree and it continues mightily to this day. How one can think that we here in the US will be exempt from tribulation and persecution, is beyond me. 2Tm says "all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution". 1Cor15 and 1Ths4 are the bread and butter scriptures of the rapture doctrine, but yet clearly 2Ths2 teaches that the falling away and the anti-christ will come FIRST. It's like the pre-tribbers are saying that the brethren in 1Cor15 and 1Ths4 are being raptured but the brethren in 2Ths2 have to wait until the end of the age. I don't think it's the apostle Paul that is confused. Last I checked Paul received his Doctorate of Theology from Jesus himself. Grace to you brother in Christ.
There would be no mayters in the Church for one thing. They would be alive and saved immediately without dying for their faith in Christ. Why would this be any different today or in the future? My second point is that I ruly believe that this pretribulation was taught because we Christians believe that we are better than anyone else. God only favors us. This is the serious sin of pride. Third, I believe that those who believe in this are afraid to be prosecuted and tortured. This may result in their death.
Didn't grow up with the rapture and just heard about it a few years ago. It didn't make sense to me when all my life I've imagined Jesus coming back once with great glory and all the earth shall see Him, why would He need such a coming twice? When He created specific parts of this world He didn't do it in steps either, it's not really logical. I do think we are living in the last days: never before has the abomination of desolation been applied worldwide, namely the jab. It's straight from the devil to want to sit in our temples. To build a digital prison with 15 min. cities, restricting our freedom more and more. We don't have thousands of years left, one world government, currency, and antichrist(s) are coming...soon. I also think it's an affront to the persecuted church in China/India/Pakistan/Indonesia/parts of Africa etc etc, to say oh, wait, just the current believers will be snatched away.
Pre-tribbers think they will be partying with Jesus at the wedding feast while the rest of the Christians still here in the great tribulation, their so called "tribulation saints" will be suffering. Not only does this not make sense, but it shows how completely selfish they are. No concern at all for their brothers and sisters in Christ being persecuted by the antichrist!

Sadly, I think that those who "fall away" will be those who are disheartened that the tribulation has started and they haven't been raptured.
He who is a friend of the world is an enemy of GOD. Examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith.

Pre-trib believers will not be surprised but they will certainly be disappointed and dismayed.
They will be in a downright PANIC. Some will betray other believers to try to save their own skins.
