    Pool and spa combo, installed by Paddock around 1995. I had the heads and drains replaced when I remodeled the pool because I wanted a color match to the new pebble surface, but they were all still working perfectly. I replaced 1 head in 20 years. The 6 port module lasts a few years, and you have to replace, about $200-$250 if you do it yourself. This system cleans perfectly when designed correctly when your pool is built. Enjoy your money pit. PCC 2000 is the best system out there IMHO.

    This system is great! Our pool is always 7-10 degrees warmer than our neighbor's pool that doesn't have the system. Hardly need to vacuum

    When the pump is off, our paraskim venturi skimmer allows the weir door to retract back from wind or water splash. As a result the debris contained within the skimmer floats out the sides of the weir and into the pool.

    I am embarrassed asking this question, but cannot find an answer. Well, here it goes. I bought a home with an inground pool that has the PCC 2000 In-Floor Cleaning System. It appears to have the debris collection zone , but It does not have the optional debris canister. My question, where does the debris go?

    i recently purchased a home with a pool with the PCC 2000 SYSTEM, but not the optional debris canister. so where does the debris go? To the skimmer - then canister before the water goes through filter?

      Mary, we would not be able to tell you where the debris is going without seeing the plumbing. But if there isn't a debris canister then the debris might be going directly to the pump basket filter. That would mean you have to empty the filter more often to keep the pump running efficiently. We do have a solution for debris collection. It's our EDC. It is installed by the equipment pad and has a larger basket to collect debris before it gets to your pump filter. Here is the link to the product. Call your pool builder to install, it's quick and easy. Plus with the larger basket you don't have to empty it as often. Let us know if you have any more questions. Call us at 1-800-621-5886. Thank you!

    I have a PCC2000 with 15 three-inch pop-up valves, and two water valves comprising a 9-port system, with the optional debris canister. It stinks. The main problem is that it leaves debris on the pool floor. The hydraulic water valves are unsightly at the pool deck, nowhere near the pool pumps (to save the builder money in plumbing - not me), and, they are always breaking (pistons stick all the time). The system is terrible.

    The valves on the bottom of the pool are stuck. How do I fix them?

    What if a kid sticks their finger in the drain/s?

      The system has a second drain, so if one is blocked the water is taken from the other. This is required of all swimming pools with the Virginia Graham Baker Law 2012. They also require a suction release mechanism, like a vent, in case both drains are blocked at once.

    my brain hurts with all of this info - salt- chlorine, they're the same, no they're not, pumps, in-floor systems, polaris, this or that. Yikes! i never thought trying to build a pool could be so complicated!

      mine ends up in the debris cannister. As long as my filter pressure is good 20 minimum, it works very similar to the video. The rest of floating leaves end up in the skimmer basket.

      @@danasimmons2513 the filter pressure indicates the resistance of flow thru the canisters in the filter , the higher the pressure, the more the debris in the filters, and that means the pump is working harder. question for you, how many skimmers do you have?

    • @porsche1971
      @porsche1971 4 года назад

      if the filters are brand new and clean, the pressure will be in 13 to 15 range.
