Ray, if you feel like traveling, head down to Texas Plinking and shoot the 1k yd challenge. Should be cake for you. Get you 1 of his gold medals. Maybe have an S.C. vs TX. friendly competition. I'm commenting while watching.
Ray...I love that Jamie 'fessed up at the end...just brilliant! Who hasn't done something like like. Went hunting 41/2 hours drive dragging a jetboat, get to the river and my friend had left the key at home. Managed to start the jetboat, he goes to get his rifle and he left his bolt at home! Hllarious! We don't call him Mr Magoo for nothing! I've forgotten stuff too so seeing Jamie own up is just brilliant! Great video and adaptation using the phone and spotting scope. Love your videos...keep 'em coming! Cheers from NZ.
I have a dream: X-Ring, Eric Cortina and TP competing in all 3 challenges, score system that favors both speed and accuracy. One rig of choice for all 3 challenges.
Great idea and Great execution! My AI AT-X in 6.5CM can't come quickly enough, but when it arrives I plan to set a similar regular challenge at 500m down here in NZ. Q. Why 500m? A. Because that is what I have available.
Yes I believe you should go to Texas and do the Brandon 1 MOA challenge The person that hit the first shot did it by luck and it's only one gold coin winner so far. I think you will get the half MOA on shock 2 I would love to see you shoot that challenge
Ray, you definitely need to fly down to Texas and do the Texas Plinking challenge. Every time I watch one of his new installments all I can think is “Ray would destroy this”.
Yes, you can. However, the limiting factory is going to be reading the mirage. While you can see mirage in the Arken you won’t be able to read the mirage as clearly. There is no doubt we could have done this with those rifles using Arkens. However, seeing the splashes and the mirage would make it more difficult.
That efficiency of motion thing..yea when your as OCD as I am everything I do day in day out I’m thinkin like this and everything’s a race seems like..
Speaking of wind down here in Charleston I’m getting from left in one field from right in another field cause each cut is 500 yards across then shooting thru the tree line I cleared. I would enjoy seeing how you handle the wind on a cross section cut one day if you’re ever up for it. Just bush hogged out to 1760 now.
@@XRING running a mpr with mark 5 hd 7-35 pr2 reticle in 300wm. The only problem is I see cross winds from 300 to 800 yards and it’s like a vortex tornado situation. As soon as I see it stop or boil to change it will shift as bullet fly’s
Spectators and stress would absolutely make a difference. I also agree that 10” squares are also slightly larger than 10” circles because of the corners. These aren’t my targets and access to the 1k line isn’t allowed at the Clinton House. Either way, it’s the best we could show. We also induced stress by running up the stairs and didn’t take 5 mins to take the first shot. 👍🏼
Efficiency of motion does make the target drop... While staying upright 👹 the quick and the dead... That was a beautiful display of shooting. Terrible videography but that part didn't matter at all. Funny!
LOL! I appreciate the comment. I didn’t go with the intention of doing a video so I didn’t have any of the necessary gear. Doing videos can be a real chore some days. Especially for a smaller channel like mine.
😂 We all make mistakes... Don't bring your wetsuits, to the motocross track... They won't let you ride without a helmet 😔... If you think you have f***** up, you know nothing😂
LOL! I’m guilty of that all of the time. I have shown up to the range many times with the bolt for my rifle. Without ammo, without Ear pro. The list goes on and on. 🤣.
Really? Running up stairs and getting it done in a time crunch isn’t original? OK so the plan is to do the one MOA challenge at 1 mile do you think that would be original enough?
We want to see X-Ring shooting the Texas Plinking and Eric Cortina 500 yard challenge. Let’s do it 😄.
What's this challenge?
Gotta get down to Texas
One day soon I hope.
Have all the RUclips 2A influencers compete in each other’s challenges. 🎉

Or try Erik Cortinas challenge. Thats even harder but at only 500 yds.
@@TenRing69why not both? They’re both in Texas
That would be a NC vs Tx but yeah I agree I would like to see that happen.. a nice collaboration
@nataliedeyton6829
My bad, I thought Ray was shooting at an S.C. gun range in this video.
@@paunchouspilot6757 he is but he lives in western NC 👍
Would love to see you attempt the texas plinking challenge!
I hope you are going to go on the TX Plinking challenge. Love to you see guys do that.
Yes Please see if you can get to do the Texas plinking challenge.
Good to see you you guys having some fun. Good shooting gentlemen. Have a great weekend.

I think you really would be an awesome competitor for the 1moa @ 1000 yard Plinker challenge
You have to try the Blackjack challenge at Erik Cortina down in Texas.

This is DEFINITELY the best challenge going !! - Thanks fer sharing !
Guys, always make lists of what gear you should bring and do a checkoff vs the list to make sure you are bringing everything.
Great shooting, this is wonderful, really enjoy. Thanks

Thank You Sir! Me, accept the challenge? Yes! Especially with skilled marksmen nearby! 👍🇺🇲
Wears GAP T shirt brings Italian super rifle haha
Amazing! Is it possible to achieve this with a budget scope like the Arken EP-5 you reviewed?
Yes, you can. However, the limiting factory
is going to be reading the mirage. While you can see mirage in the Arken you won’t be able to read the mirage as clearly. There is no doubt we could have done this with those rifles using Arkens. However, seeing the splashes and the mirage would make it more difficult.

I’m the same way Charles. Always looking for a better way to do things in the shortest amount of time possible. 👍🏼
Good shooting guys!
In the Texas plinking challenge they are in a prone position. Does this make it easier or harder?
Prone is easier is my opinion and is the most stable position for me.
@@XRING cool thanks for the reply 👍
Looks like fun. Way above my skills. That bottom carry handle would be really nice .

Really take the time to learn how to look at the mirage at varying distances to the target. You will need great glass for that. 👍🏼

😮 There's some critters in your jungle... Noisy little buggers 🪄
Lots of rain makes the frogs sing. 👍🏼
Get the east coast a challenge like ol Texas plink has! You the damn man
what length barrel is on that victrix?
Been missing u xring
What’s your favorite scope for 1 mile shots? Please and thanks!
You should do this challenge monthly or something 🤷🏻♂️ very cool thank you!!!
One thing that you know, Ray...the wind down here is Texas could be a bit of a challenge. LOL
Yes, I know that for sure!!!!!
It isn’t the same and I know it.
I would be lucky to hit it in 10 shots.
.308 vs 6.5 Creedmoor thousand yards challenge would be interesting.
everybody knows it's all in the rifle :):):). how's old ticker doing ? you need to start putting on some weight ,you're disappearing 😁😁
Drove an hour to the range once, took the rifle but left the bolt at home. Took the drive of shame back home. Have a great day. Be Safe
I have done that as well Tim! 😂
RAY, YOU ARE A SNIPER ♠️♠️
Where is the best place to get a Ziess S3? What power range?
Thanks for sharing
you should get a nikon coolpix p1000 for filming the long range stuff would make a world of difference
Hell to the Yea!!!! 👍🏼
Your target looks way bigger than the one T.P uses, No spectators, no stress, just saying.

Unequivocally Yes! Won two of the Leupold MK5 HD’s and sold them both.
