I'm so glad this musical exists. Not only is it simply incredible but Alexander Hamilton is finally getting some much-deserved street cred.
I love your voice and as someone raised by a vocal trainer, I can appreciate how technically gorgeous your voice is. The only critique I have is that I wish you'd muddied some notes to get the emotions across. All-in-all, though, I think it's gorgeous.

Unfortunately no! I got Michael Luwye he's the guy whose played both Ham and Burr, on seperate nights. But he was fantastic.
This is already an intense song, about Eliza Hamilton burning the letters from her husband Alexander after he went public concerning his affair with Maria Reynolds. Evynne's performance makes it even more powerful, projecting the emotion behind the words so the audience experiences the joy and anguish right along with the character of Eliza. I would love to see her do this on the stage!
Nathan Alef is wonderful on piano. Maybe he could do an instrumental version for his RUclips channel?

AAH! You did the ALL of this perfectly! Even the "You, you, you. . ." part, just perfect. You have such an amazing voice. Absolutely incredible.
In all honesty, my personal favourite part of this song is the "how they perceive you" part (2:07) AND YOU SANG IT IN SUCH A PERFECT WAY WOW. I'm never satisfied (see what I did there) with other covers because there's not that sort of "anger" in their voice that Philippa Soo has in the original version (I don't know if there's a technical term). You've put so much emotions throughout the entire song and it's just so good !!!
Can you and Peter please do a Hamilton Medley!!!! I would literally cry if this happened. I would have that on repeat for days...

HOW DID I NOT SEE THIS BEFORE? This is amazing.
I've commented before on how much I adore how you sing this song! I don't know what it is about it, but I've listened to about 18 versions of Burn now, and I keep coming back to yours because, seriously, in my opinion, it is the best. I'm not trained at all, so I only basically know what hits me in the heart and soul, and this does! Over and over and over, like your new live performance of She Used To Be Mine. They both do this! I love your bubbly personality, but when you go deep like this, wow. I'm convinced that the singers who sing "light, happy" the best (you, Evynne) are also the ones who can do that because they have deeply understanding souls who have known pain, either personally or through something close to you, and can do Burn and She Used To Be Mine and other songs all over the spectrum, because you have it inside. You can't bring out what you've never felt, or never encountered in some way. And I have to commend your carrying the melody the whole way because Nathan's delicious piano goes around the main melody, so Brava! to you, and Bravo! to Nathan, and thank God for your talent!

I'm not a super huge fan of Hamilton but when the sisters come in (especially Angelica, I love her character) I start to enjoy the musical a lot. The women on the soundtrack can sing! And Evynne, you've gone above and beyond with this one. It seems as if you sing this so effortlessly and this song really suites your voice. You've not only covered the song, but added your own style to it. Great job Evynne!
