- In this English lesson I talk about my pet peeves. Pet peeves are the things in life that you find annoying and frustrating. As I talk about my pet peeves (and show them to you) I'll help you learn some English phrases that you can use when talking about things that bother you.
I'll help you learn English phrases you can use to express your frustration like, "This really bothers me!" and phrases to give a reason why you are frustrated like, "It bothers me when..."
You'll learn some really useful phrases in this English lesson that you can use when you are aggravated, frustrated and just plain annoyed!
I hope you enjoyed this English lesson about pet peeves and how to express frustration!

Ha! People not wearing masks drives me up the wall too. I spent an entire day in close quarters with someone who was positive for COVID. I never got sick. I think it was our masks that stopped me from getting it. Thankfully, he was only sick for a few days.

Teacher Bob, thanks for the overview of the phrases we can use to talk about our pet peeves. My biggest pet peeve is when people smoke on balconies and then just flick cigarette butts out of the window. That is really annoying!

Hi, bob, this is fantastic a little lesson. I was annoyed when people their chumgam put it, someone's head, and some people would be very stupid they wasted food throw a garbage tank but they didn't think poor people need to food.
And some people freaked on me when they eat bananas and put them in important places.
It drives me to the wall if another customer stands too close to me at the grocery store. Thank you Bob.

Dear Teacher Bob, it's so aggravating ( 😬😇 ) that I don't understand the grammar of the followings: "This is drives me nuts" and "This is drives me bananas🍌" These sentences contain also the existence verb "be" in a conjugated form ("is") plus another verb, especially also in a conjugated form ("drives") It's so weird!! It really works so?! 😶 Thank you a lot for the new helpful video and I'm so sorry if I got something wrong! 🙄😶🥴

i had a great problem with the teacher, several decades ago. a teacher asked someone to brush the blackboard , the student used a pièce of paper to do it. this bothered me a lot and i put my fingers into my ears.the new teacher saw me and " YOU DONT WANT TO LISTEN TO ME? BRING UP YOUR BAG AND GO OUT "

I didn't even know that squirrels may be so annoying! I usually like to watch them in the park. Yes, animals should live in the nature. Then they are so amazing, at least the squirrels are. I can understand you, Bob! It drives me nuts when I find some kind of bugs inside my balcony! My balcony goes to the south side and these annoying insects like to get into my balcony on these warm sunny autumn days. Every time I find one, it drives me bananas!
It drives me crazy/nuts/up the wall when my boss asks me to work overtime when I am just about to get off work.This is sooo frustrating when I couldn’t say no to him because I don’t wanna be fired .Actually not frustrating but desperate due to my employer-specific work permit.
