Guys, Thums Up, Gold Spot and Limca were Parle Brands later sold to Coca Cola. Also, Bachpan mein hamare Orange bole toh Gold Spot hota tha. Golden colour mein ek drink aati thi Canada Dry by Cadburys Schwepps (Schweppers) which Coke and Pepsi knocked out of the market. That was an amazing looking and tasting drink.

I have heard that coca cola wasn't that famous back in the days when it was launched in India, people were more drawn towards thums up which was more suitable for the indian palette than coco cola and coco cola used cheap tactics like cutting the supply of raw materials like bottles and stuffs for thums up and then took over the market and later bought thums up , messed with it's taste and then relaunched it as a product of there company that's why i don't like coco cola that much and the previous owner of thums up launched the new brand named Bisleri which we all know how successful it is!!

After a long time, these two bring back the " josh" in the video. Otherwise ok tested videos become blunt nowadays.
Thumbs up is used to be Indian Brand (indian version of Coca-Cola) when coca cola was banned by Indian Government in late 80s. It became quite popular and when policy changes and coca cola came back to India, Thumbs up was giving tough competition to Coke, so that's why they purchased the brand and started diluting it but also kept it so that govt doesn't raise suspicion of killing the competition.
