the "sticky fingers" line in R deserved another take for sure.

Sasuke Bucciarati didn't sound like a charismatic leader, he sounded like a pretty boy. Yuichi Nakamura's voice and tone portray his role as a leader far better.
You can like whichever voice you want, but I absolutely don't hear "gang leader" from Sasuke. I only hear edgy boi.

I like Nakamura take on Bucciarati voice make him calm and collective more than agressive sasuke-kun, but I do like the AriAri from sasuke Bucciarati.
I prefer new VA he sounds more composed and calm which fits the role, (sasuke) Bruno sounds a bit angry and that ain’t Bruno.

I think the new voice fits better, the original feels amazing but it just doesn’t fit for some reason, but the passion is there

Tomoya Bucciarati is the best. I love the seiyuu yes but I just hear Sasuke for the first voice so nope.
Fun fact: The person who voice acted English dub Sasuke also voiced many characters in Fallout New Vegas and other games and shows.

I think Nakamura's delivery in R just really lacks alot of the passion and edge that Sugiyama had in the original or even Nakamura's anime deliveries had. Also that "Sticky Fingers!" During his ultimate was fucking WEAAAK. I did like his Ari's tho, might like them even more than how they sounded in the anime.
Truth be told, for me seems like a lot of characters seem bored in All Star R, even the mighty DIO

I think the voice direction in this game was really off. I think the voice directors did a bad job with a lot of characters because they don’t sound enthusiastic at all.
No matter how good Nakamura's voice acting for Bruno, no one can top Sugiyama's voice in ASB and EOH. I live for that "Stickyyy Fingaaass"
While I love Yuichi Nakamura as Bucciarati in the anime and here as well, I do miss Noriaki Sugiyama's delivery in og ASB. Specially those aris, Sugiyama did a fantastic job with them.
Well in the anime he is great. I do understand why a lot of people really like the old voice but I'm just so used to the anime voice
The old voice is more passionate. The "stickyyyy fingers" is better by far in the old version. But it's fine eitherway. I hope you can change the voices in the menu or something or mods directly.

It's funny because I was afraid back then that the voice actor change for the anime was going to be bad but it was not. The new VA is perfect in the anime but in ASBR he sounds like he's going to fall asleep. Sasuke Bucciarati is clearly the best, at least in the game. The ARI and Sticky Fingers is unmatched.

Yeah I think what a lot of people miss when it comes to the remaster is that its not that one actor is objectively better than the other. Its just the voice direction is really lacking in the remaster. Theres not enough passion and impact in the deliveries compared to the previous one. Even with the actors that are still there from the old to the new.

The "Sticky Fingers!" Into the ARI barrage is so amazing in og ASB. It has been ingrained into my brain to this day ever since I played it 5 years ago.
The newer one isn't terrible but lacks in delivery imo.

in the original sticky fingers at 0:52 he sounds more expressive and uhh cooler than the newer one at 1:13 he just doesn’t sound too into it like the OG but that’s fine loll

Old Bruno sounds more desperate, and new Bruno sounds much more confident in himself.

Wish the voices were as serious as they were in the anime. I can get behind some cases because the voices clearly need to be done fast due to combos etc. You get the idea, it's a fighting game. In Diamond Records the voices were really top notch but only because it was mostly a turn-based game late-version. Still the ultimates could have been a lot better, not sure what happened to some VA's, did they lose motivation or something?

Normally, I like Nakamura Bucharati for calm lines in daily mode, but Sugiyama Bucharati is better for stand names and rush sound lines during battle...
I don't know why All-Star Battles R itself, but the lines of the children were slightly down.

I see a lot of people saying they prefer the old one, while yes, it does have more passion, I feel like people are forgetting that despite Bruno being a very caring character, he's very cold, as in he's a very serious person, so I'd say the lack of emotion fits better for the character, it doesn't sound as pleasant to the ears, BUT I feel like it is what fits him best, Bruno sounding like almost a teen, while also being very emotive with his voice is very off-putting and doesn't really fit at all, so personally I think the newer voice is better, because a serious person like Bruno, who puts up a very serious front as a leader, would not let his emotions out like that, he's much more calm and collected
Yo that old stand cry really does hit different though
After watching a few of these comparisons it seems to me that the new VA's had very different voice directing, they just intentionally softer with the delivery, I know the likes of Nakamura and Sakurai can do much better, like they did in the anime.
As a person that loves Bruno and hate Sasuke, I'm super happy they replaced his voice actor for the anime one.

No offense to Nakamura (new), but I wish they had retake Bruno's delivery like Sugiyama’s (old) cuz that “STICKY FINGERS” and the part where Bruno charged at the enemy was so good when he did it

Why do all of the voice actors in the remaster sound so flat and bored God. It's like they recorded the audio for this game in an afternoon over the phone. I get that these voices might work in an anime with full scenes, but in a fighting game with dynamic snappy voice lines for every attack you need a livelier voice tomake the characters actually fun to play and listen to
