Hello, I have an e-scooter with a 36V 1000W motor. When I stop my e-scooter against a wall and accelerate, the motor makes a noise like it's spinning inside or something.
My sons 800w motor don't work with all of the three controller I got. But will spin connected directly to the battery.. can be saved change over a stator board for a new one. The little pcb board that's got the bushes attached to..
@@richardjeffrey2801 my motor works as it should even through the controller and pedal.... but as soon as its turned on it starts smoking and smells like burning wires.... is there anything I can do to save the motor or is it quite literally just fried
Happened 2 more times after making the video.. but I'm ungrading it to a 48v battery 1800w controller and bldc motor... Possibly 60v-72v 3000w if as I have plenty battetys.
Thanks this is helpful. I have similar problem only reaching 10 % of speed then runs for about 10 seconds and stops, turn the ignition off then on and exactly same problem - it is so consistent that thanks to the video and your comments - I am fairly certain its the motor pcb , as I had 2 quads exactly the same and used the controller output to motor via a 2m cable to jump from one quad to the other and motor did the exact same thing with output from either controller. I also tested the controller on the quad that was running badly by hooking its output the good quad motor and the motor ran perfectly. I did the jumper cable without having to pull the quads apart - by accessing the motor connection under the tank area.

My motor smokes and smells every time I run it but it still works? Is there a way to save it?

Naa scraped the motor
I think motor is prpblem as im not getting the mileage . Everything os new. Etc i rebuilt escooter . All but get motor.
Yeah motor was shorted
looks like it's been having some overheating issues too
Yep the motor is on its way out completely.. hoping upgrade the set up in the future when it's to slow for him.
this happens to mine

How the fuck do I get it in the gap with the magnets
Hard work mate.. try useing a thin flat head screwdriver to slide them out
It's hard tbh mate tuck about hour
@@richardjeffrey2801 I’ve sorted it now mine had a lock back system in place so you can lock the magnets back then set them in
Hi my motor isnt reacing full speed and isnt smooth the battery is fully charged
Controller issues or the hall senor damaged
@@richardjeffrey2801 it Was the windings i rewinded it and it works again
