Charlie, you are truly amazing with everything thing that you fit into your life! I remember going to Olympia as a child to see the Horse of the Year Show, it looked as though you had a wonderful day. I'm glad that Colin's nostril is healing well, bless him. You are doing everything you can for little Maude, and I totally agree that crating her at her age if it distresses her is not the way to go, and fortunately she is small enough to carry around, to ensure that she doesn't put unnecessary pressure on her back, it would be different if it were one of the Labs . I hope that you all have a fabulous holiday. XX

Thank you for sharing the Horse Show, really enjoyed it. The potato Dauphinoise with gruyere cheese is really delicious! Safe travels to Italy. Looking forward to seeing your skiing vlogs.

Gosh you are so organised . I don’t know how you manage to juggle all those balls so successfully, but you do. I remember it being at Olympia wasn’t it the Horse of the Year show ? It looked amazing what a wonderful day out. Have a lovely holiday x

Thank you 🥰 I have learnt to juggle lots of balls!! Olympia was fabulous but they needed more space so have relocated it! It now called The London Horse Show xxx

Thank you for the lovely video. I don’t think I have ever experienced -6 Celsius in my life….must be like finding yourself in a walk-in freezer 🥶. I have checked out your recipe for Dauphinois which I will try in preference to my basic scalloped potatoes. Loved the scenes from the horse show, especially the Shetland Derby. It’s great to hear that Colin is healing well. Vets can do wonders, can’t they. I do hope you have a fantastic holiday in Italy. PS. May I request you make a video at some point on your nail management routine. I have had thyroid disease and although I am now taking thyroid replacement medication for life, I find that my nails are extremely brittle and ridged. I would really appreciate some advice. ❤❤

I’m so sorry about your oldie dog but I feel that your making the best decision for your dog and you are completely right it’s about making their golden days/weeks as decent and comfortable as possible. Mindful of if it’s cold or wet out that like people with arthritis or back pain it’s best to be cosy dry and warm but I don’t think you need to be told that your doing wonderful as it is. It’s not about heroics it’s about happiness, peace and ensuring her comfort.

My friend had that problem with her horse, he wasn’t able to run just stay in his stall. He got so depressed and went down hill, he was old. Sadly for him it was kinder to let him go, just awful when you love them so

Please be mindful also of Maud potentially falling down stairs Im sorry it’s an awful thought but I have hurt our old family Labrador fall from top to bottom so maybe consider shutting Maud upstairs in cocos room or at least there being a door or barrier to prevent her from falling whilst on a night time wander to her water dish or something.

We have a baby gate so she can’t fall down the stairs, and she has a water bowl in Coco’s bedroom, she often sleeps up there before her back, thank you xxx

I’ve just realised I wrote hurt instead of heard (sorry) I usually miss out crucial words completely but I seem to have excelled my self and replacing words that day 😂
