This is the best album of the year. And I hate the fact that he's not getting the support he deserves just because he stepped out of pop music. He's a musical genius!
How do you think that he doesn't get the support? His songs are streamed a lot and many people react to his album on RUclips and so on and have a high meaning of his music. In my opinion he get a lot support. That is not mainstream music so of course and for that his music get support very much.
Great answer to all the haters and people who don’t understand why! Stop inventing an icon for worship from a LIVING PERSON! Bravo Namjoon! So all of them! Thank you for your reaction!
San Yawn is the Creative Director/Producer on this album. RM mentions him in this song. He's from Balming Tiger, the alternative K-Pop group that RM featured on Sexy Nukim. Does it make a little more sense now? Also, there is a Mini-moni Album Exchange discussion. You should check it out.
I loved this song for his brutal honesty and laughed when I realised that it was filmed in what looks to be any normal housing estate in the u.k where I live. 😂💜
i love Indigo and all the songs in it but RPWP album is just sooo Namjoon! very raw and honest. like the MV and lyrics of groin. he just says anything that needs to be said. no filter. his dance is just him being himself. and him wearing no fancy outfit, just a tracksuit that he would normally wear 😂 what you see is what you get 😂
This is my favorite song & MV from the album!! I love how raw it is & GO RM just tell the world your truth thoughts!!! The MV is so simple & it works! the beginning was trippy but i think it represent how he views the world (message of the album) - is it up or down, is it walking in circle or walking the stairs? - what's wrong vs right can be interpret many ways. Him just in casual way, little edit/camera angle/ production, perfectly fit the vibe of the song.
Hi John! Love watching your reactions, RPWP is quickly becoming one of my favourite albums too! So authentic! I just want you to understand that UK Army (Like me) have absolutely been freaking out over this MV because it was filmed in London (those streets look exactly like the ones i grew up on!) and has such nostaligic like 2000s vibes. Even the tracksuit he's wearing! Pretty much everyone has one of those sitting in their closet somewhere haha. Also, pretty much everyone of my age has videos of them and their friends that look like this. Like i said, UK Army are low key freaking out over this! Thank you for your reactions, I look forward to the next one!!
Thanks for this reaction. Groin is one of my favorites. Since I don’t do Patreon, I can’t comment there, so I’ll just say I really enjoyed your Live on Twitch yesterday, reacting to the whole album and to the mini moni video. RM did such a great job with this album. FYI - an RM live (performance?) video is dropping tomorrow, Wednesday 5/29, and another MV is dropping on Thursday, 5/30. Be on the lookout. 👀
RM was my bias from the start, and I have to admit that I have put him in a box labeled K-pop. Even his previous solos (such as Joke ie) showed a glimpse of his alter ego, but this is a complete 360, leaving me a little conflicted. Who is this man, and what have you done with my RM? As all the guys chosing their own genres, that are so different from each other, they can't be BTS again as we know them. They will have to totally reinvent themselves. They all have been released from their beautiful prison, .......... and now what???
It definitely will be different and they will not be the same group at all. We shouldn’t really expect them to be and if they don’t want to get back together or whatever-we do have 10 years worth of music.
You should watch the Mini & Moni video where RM and Jimin listen to the album and they discuss the process, what the album means to him, and how it was him being 100% honest
Thanks for this reaction, John! Namjoon has liberated himself and does not have to care what anybody else thinks. Lots of pent-up anger at the haters and users in this song and it's about damn time he swung free.
I was waiting for your reaction ! Isn't it an awesome song ???? RM is a total genius.....amazing our leader ❤ You will love the whole album ! Have a great week John
I love how untethered this whole album is. I loved Indigo, it was a great collection of songs, thoughtfully constructed and presented, carefully crafted and beautifully done. But Right Place, Wrong Person is everything I didn't know I wanted. A wild, slightly messy, brain dump and emotional outpouring. Just listening to it makes me feel more free in my own life. Between this, Jimin's Face and Yoongi's D-Day, I'm hoping they will keep more of this rawness and idgaf attitude in future BTS works.
I find this more 'RM' than anything on Indigo. For any newer fans they may be surprised but us OG ARMY knows this is HIM. It harks back to the rawness of his first 2015 mixtape RM, which I love. Being UK ARMY it was great to hear UK rapper Little Simz on Domadachi (another favourite!) and that Groin was filmed in the UK, not in pristine central London, but on some random housing estate. So cool I can't tell you!💜
He is finally just himself not the clean and refursed Version they tried to push him in too ...i love him he's free and his music feels exactly like this free pure joy 🙏..good i love this man
Love this MV. It's him clapping back to the haters. He is just very comfortable saying his thoughts. Your reaction are close to mine. Happy RM is relaxing.
I do not think it any thing to do with haters. I think it’s more of him struggling with everything that’s expected of him being the leader of BTS and that sometimes it’s to much and he also wants to be himself. He feels he has to always be in the leader role and with KPOP has an image that’s expected of all of them.
I absolutely love this song and the lyrics. He said what he wanted to say, and I love that for him! And I'm glad he said it, there's way too much pressure on him from every direction. It's my favorite song on the album.
As someone who grew up on NIN I'm really getting that experimental vibe and that is something I totally mesh with. Also change on Indigo when I first heard that it made my NIN heart flutter! Also also This is giving me old school RM vibeS, you know when he was an angry angsty 20 year old whose favorite English phrase was "motha' fu**er"!😂
Filmed here in the UK before he enlisted so about the same time V was here filming 'Friends' @ the Ace Cafe in London. Winter here was very grey and wet this year but we got some frost by no snow and ice thankfully just lots of grey rainy days. Hence the greyness of the weather in the MV.
AOTY - really - not saying that cause I am Army - I mean it from deep in my core - it's a f***ing banger. I really feel like with Indigo, RM exposed how everything was making him feel [songs like Wildflower, Lonely] but, like those weighted comfort blankets that you put on you to feel better, I feel Indigo was his weighted blanket. That's all great [I've got one - they are wonderful] but you need to face what makes you put the blanket on in the first place [he explains a lot of this in the album listening he did with Jimin - on Bangtantv on YT] and voila - he makes RPWP, and drops that blanket off. Indigo will always be there and be his [and many others] comfort blanket - RPWP though is his panacea - by end of the album you can almost viscerally feel it - the cathartic impact it had for him....and will have others as well.
This song is awesome!!! I admit I usually hate profanity in music, but with BTS I never mind it!!! They seem to be so honest and sincere with it that I get where they’re coming from and it’s not gratuitous or offensive unlike in some other rappers/singers music. RM is a genius!!!🥰💜💜💜🫰🏻
Hopefully they’ll continue like this. Doing the music they like and being more experimental. I love this album so much. Pretty interesting to me. I would love to get a vynil. It’s such a vibe.
He said F off, leave me alone. I love that our Bangtan boys are telling fans to take em or leave em. I can't wait for this reunion album when they all get out.
You really need to see the new video of Jimin talking to RM about his new album he talks candidly about what each song means and the way he felt for sometime being BTS’s leader I feel for him having that weight on his shoulders … he said he feels free of that now and it was good to do this album getting it all off his chest … I love how raw he is on this new album my favourite is Heaven I love that song 💜💜
I think this whole album is genius ( we wouldnt expect anything less!!) But it does feel like he feels so free doing this album, and the way he talks about how he moves on from the point of releasing an album, makes me wonder what his mindset is now. Arrrrgh i just freaking love that he got to do this, and almost so freeing for him to not have the pressure of promoting it, it just gets to 'be' and I feel like people will be talking about this album for a long time!! 🤴🏽
I'm with you John. I don't think this is a new direction for RM. I think it was what he was feeling and had to express, and now that he has he'll go back to writing new BTS music. Any ARMY that do not support this album are not true ARMY in my opinion. Besides, it's a raw, authentic look inside himself and how can you not get behind that? I personally LOVE the album. "Groin" is one of my favs. I've added a link to the album review he did with Jimin. Watching that will give you a complete understanding of what this album meant to him... and Jimin. I really think you're already there, but this is an excellent 30 minutes to spend supplementing your thoughts. Link below: ruclips.net/video/XQk7zOm68HU/видео.htmlsi=0smyXBtr3BkI5akw
And what has he been just that as a Special Envoy with a dipolatic passpot, speaking 3 times at the UN and at the USA White House. He's done it but like he say I'm not a Dipolmat he's an Artist. I love his 'Get out the trunk and walk like a duck that says to 'if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it's a Duck get out the trunk (boot) I think that all to do with those trying to ride of the their coat-tails to success and he's saying saying a big FU to them.
So agree with you John! This album rocks. I am happy RM had this opportunity to let out his frustrations. Haters gonna hate but I sure ain't one of them.🍻🫰
“bbangsang Ajumma” In Korea, the famous “bbangsang” was introduced as a unique person on TV who claimed to be able to communicate with aliens and made strange, nonsensical noises. Among them, the word "bbangsang" was said to be the alien's greeting of "Yes, humans!" As BTS's popularity grew, more and more people wanted to gain something from them, and since even a single word had a ripple effect, politicians at home and abroad tried to take advantage of it. RM seems to want to say, “I am who I am, please leave me alone.” ruclips.net/video/p6IshdOdue8/видео.htmlsi=651xY3aTig6ylZfA
He already listened to Domodachi, when he did a full album reaction yesterday on Twitch. But who knows, maybe there might be a music video in the future for this song (we don’t know yet). We’re expecting 2 more MVs plus a live video from RM, still.
I don’t know if you’ll see this but you need to react to Dreamcatcher, if you haven’t. I think you would love them. I would recommend; Scream, Reason, and my favorite Don’t Light my Fire.
Ehh it was a pretty bad song to be honest. I’ve been a fan for nearly 10 years but I can’t sit here and say it’s a good song I’ve been to 3 concerts, 1 fan sign. They’ve done a lot of good work but this isn’t it.
That's your opinion but you write it as an objective fact. For me, it is the best album to come out not only of BTS as solo artists but BTS as a group even. And guess what? I haven't been to any of their concerts yet!😊
Ehh it was a pretty bad song to be honest. I’ve been a fan for nearly 10 years but I can’t sit here and say it’s a good song I’ve been to 3 concerts, 1 fan sign. They’ve done a lot of good work but this isn’t it.

THIS!,
It's okay, some people listen to pop , some hip-hop, some jazz and ....
After sometime people who likes this genre will come along
How do you think that he doesn't get the support?

ARTM delivered again🔥💪🏼💜
you can saw on X, locals praise him a lot, and i do love thattt
RPWP is proof that Real Me & Rap Monster can coexist within Kim Namjoon.
It continues with our Bangtan Boys all grown up and showing their authentic selves. RM being real and relatable.
Rm, Jk, Suga all with the message.
It’s why we support them with all we have. So they are free to release the music they want to. I love this album so much!
Great answer to all the haters and people who don’t understand why! Stop inventing an icon for worship from a LIVING PERSON! Bravo Namjoon! So all of them! Thank you for your reaction!
The album is nothing short of genius. Not just RM, but the production and the musicianship is amazing.
I love this album and how he let himself say whatever he wanted.

RM makes "f*^k it up" sound downright the only way to say what he needs to say .....anyone taking offense can take a hike!
Thanks for this reaction, John! Namjoon has liberated himself and does not have to care what anybody else thinks. Lots of pent-up anger at the haters and users in this song and it's about damn time he swung free.
The gritty RM. BTS has made it, RM doesn't have to be an angel any more. He can be himself. Unapologetic.
