Im so happy for you. I remember like it was yesterday when you shared in a video that you were unable to have children. I felt for you even though i have none myself. It just goes to show how important it is to remember that a doctors opinion is an opinion. No matter what they are telling you. Congratulations to you and your soon to be expanded family
Hi Carrie, I’ve been watching you for years. I like the first rabbit/moon because you are using blue/yellow which are more opposite on the color wheel. It has more atmosphere. But both are wonderful. Hope you are feeling well…take good care of yourself and congrats on the upcoming addition to your family! You are one talented lady. God bless.
New sub here! I love your voice and I love your art style! I'm going to look through your videos for any that you may have done showing the use of watercolor concentrate. I am unfamiliar with that product and very intrigued! (Though I don't need yet another medium to spend money on! Haha!) Do I gather you have a little one on the way? Congratulations!! How exciting! Many blessings to you!!
I just realized i havent been watching your videos for a while, which means i didnt see you for a while and girl i have to say YOU LOOK ABSULETLY STUNNING! Your skin looks more healty and young then ever! you're not just a wonderful watercolor artist, also a beautiful woman! I also really enjoy listening you, your voice has a really calming tone. GO GIRL! 😍😍😍😍😍
Idk why but I haven't seen you or your videos in forever! I tried searching you in my subscription list and youtube and had the hardest time! I finally typed in art supply regrets and you finally came up! I'm so happyand excited. This is an older video so I hope you'll see this comment. Does youtube shadow ban artists for some reasons lol jk. But really do they?
My vote for #1. Also, congratulations on your pregnancy! As for designer's gouache, I'm not the most practiced painter these days, but I do own a lot of Holbien, Winsor & Newton, and Shinhan gouache. Don't waste your time or money on the popular jelly gouache, as they are loaded with weird binders instead of pigment-rich and they make horrible muddy mixes.
So I love number one. I don't know if that helps. Congrats on the baby. I filled both my children's rooms with colour. They are both very artistic. I'm not sure if that's nature or nurture. My art goal for this year is to become more whimsical because I've always been very good at drawing realistically. But I feel like it's too stressful. People are always amazed at how realistic everything is, so I thought that's what I should do. But its's stressful and I'm not enjoying it. So the other day I was messing round with some fun fish in Tombows. And I enjoyed. And then watching your video the penny dropped. I just want to have fun and that's my goal this year. Fun!
Hullo Carrie, I worked in a design studio after college and they used Turners design gouache, it is NOT permanent. Now they market it as an Artist medium and they have a lot of pigment information, some are still listed as fugitive! I got very discouraged because everything I painted was photographed and thrown away! So I still struggle with working with gouache! I am voting for #1 it is truly more dynamic and I am glad that you are doing so much better! Cheers to you and your growing family!
What a great video. I’ll be on this color journey with you. The engineering part of my brain sees color very narrowly. I really want to break out of that and be more free. And I get how one bad teacher ruin a whole subject. For me that was chemistry. I think I like the blue background painting. I feel there is more opportunity to stretch my art legs there.
May I recommend another RUclipsr to you? Her name is Denise Love and she is just the most fun upbeat abstract WC artist but she has done alot of other wrt things too. She shows us how to just play and enjoy the abstract process. Check her out🥰
Everyone has been in watercolors for decades. Because every child on Earth is introduced to them as toddlers. So sick of hearing youtubers pretend they have experience outside of RUclips.

Congratulations to you both. #1 would be my pick, love a good colourful painting.

I love these bright colors. The #1 painting is my choice.
No.1 looks like so much fun

Definitely the blue background for me.
This is so fascinatig, thank you for sharing 😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
#1 blue and yellow!
I love color keep it up !!!
Thank you! Me too!
You need to get the two set Color Cubes. They are great.
They are lightfast...just get the hydrus..ones made with pigmented instead of dye are lightfast
A bit late on this, but I love the second one! They’re both lovely, though. :)
Number 1 ❤
Painting #01 for sure! Forget traditional! It's a New Year...start your own tradition!
Hi! I vote for #1
One regret of mine is buying a 24 color jelly gouache, I am trying to use it, but is been a struggle. Thanks for the video 🎉🎉🎉
Painting #01. Thanks.
Love #1
I like #1 with blues

I prefer #1.
I think the Ph Martins Hydrus Watercolour ink maybe archival and lightfast.
It is but doesn't mix well with traditional watercolors. I've made a video on this inside of watercolor misfit land.
Number one, Please!
Painting 1 background on bunny/moon #2
1 for me x
Number 1 please.
