You know, a couple months ago I told my friends if Scara became playable, his Ally At Low HP voice line would be "kys". I am both surprised and unsurprised that I wasn't too far off.
i gotta admit, his voicelines made me laugh so many times. “i’m no fan of dango”, “quit following me”, “cry louder”, “worthless as expected.” it convinced me to pull for him even more. I wasn’t too much of a fan of scaramouche before, but after his release and more of his lore was revealed, I actually liked him.

This man has suffered from the lack of having a good, solid friend for the majority of his existence. If you never experience that, it should surprise no one that you end up being able to understand how that works. The guy he was friends with making swords got fucked over by Dottore and Wanderer was too niave to realize what went down. The little boy could not control his illness and as a puppet, Wanderer didn't really understand death or loss. Then he got picked up by the Fatui and anyone who thinks THEY wanted to teach him anything that could help him...? I've got some ocean front property in Manitoba I'd love to sell ya. Does it take away anything he did or may do? No. Does it make those things sad in light of these lines? Yes. Because it's a matter of "There but for fortune could go you and I." There is a comic within Batman known as the "Killing Joke" and in it the Joker claims that all it takes to break someone is one bad day. Wanderer dealt with way more than that. Of course, while Wanderer may want to be friends with Traveler, that's borderline impossible because of Traveler's experiences. Especially the loss of Teppei. But the Traveler's inability need not extend to everyone else in Teyvat.
Same for me too. I had JP a while back cuz I deleted the other voiceovers but I reinstalled ENG again cuz his ENG voice is so lovely, it's the first one I fell in love with after all.
Patrick as Scara, Mark Whitten as Kazuha, Max Mittlmelman as Itto, and Keith Silverstein as Zhongli are the cream of the crop of Genshin's English voice acting, for which I switch the language from CN for. Very stellar performances.

I'm finally able to run Lost Prayer on my Wanderer because I was able to get a crit damage circlet. Now he wanders 10% faster and I'm loving every minute of it. lol
He's so effortlessly funny I love him, I love all his voicelines. That Wanderer's Troubles voiceline is hilarious, and so are his voicelines about everyone lmao. That end is relatable, I lost to Redhorn and Jade Spear. I'm so close to getting his weapon but I can't play the game rn, hopefully I'll get it when I can.
