  • Jordan Stolz was de grote sensatie van de eerste World Cup in Stavanger. De pas 18-jarige Amerikaan won in Noorwegen met overmacht de 1000 meter en de 1500 meter. Stolz, die flink aan populariteit heeft gewonnen, hoopt ook komend weekend in Thialf weer heel hard te schaatsen.

    So sorry that Jordan fell in the 1,000 today.☹They didn't clean the ice after the womens mass start.I hope he has better luck tomorrow or Sunday in the 1,500.

      They did have ice preperation after the mass start but not between the women's and men's 1000m. Seems to be an ISU descision because this was also the case last week
