I think it’s about a child who’s mom is a prostitute. So he has to go in the closet while she works in the next room. Maybe young mom (that’s why she’s the “sister”). The child of course isn’t happy. And as often happens, the mom is killed while the child is hidden. I could be wrong that’s my interpretation.
Hoo boy… it’s a dark one. It’s from a poem Till wrote about a little boy whose big sister is a sex worker. She gives him a doll (Puppe) to distract him but he hears her getting beaten, abused, etc. and her screams through the walls and it disturbs him greatly to the point of ripping off the head of the doll. One night a client murders her and he responds by ripping off the client’s head the way he did the doll

no. the translation is really basic. its a normal doll for children. he just witnesses how his sister works as a whore each night and sees how she gets treated by some men and one day witnesses the murder of her by one of the customers and he probaly got a bit twisted in his head so he starts to rip off the dolls head and bites off her neck. he translated the part with the hit wrong. it wasnt just a hit. he witnessed how a customer bludegend her to death.
@Nich Hodge he translated it wrong. the original text is "und er schlug sie tot" which translates to he bludgend her to death. u can translate "schlug" wit hit but in this context it means bludgening. "tot" means death. u could say he hit her till she died but that doesnt sound to nice to my german ears
