One must clearly keep in mind, that behind this entertaining and almost jocose sounding video, there is some serious effort in constructing it, based on fully understanding a not so simple original composition.
probably just imported the guitar pro files or midi file data into a few vst instruments and exported out a daw. probably didn't take more than a half hour to an hour. I wouldn't call it patience. But its ripping none the less. They had some good sound choices for the midi.
No, I pretty promptly realized I didn't actually have any good ideas for a video game and working on my own musical and compositional skills would be a better use of my time. Thanks for checking in though! Haha!
This would fit perfectly in a pokemon game after you beat the elite four and go against the champion. Another 8 bit metal song that would fit in a game perfectly would be carbonized in cruciform by tbdm.
@Anotherlast9 i would think the average person tabs out the song on guitar pro or a program similar that can export midi files, then they import into an 8bit program called gsxcc or something and export from that
It's not that hard to make really, I make these myself. Usually they're transcribed by ear (all of mine are except the very old ones). The MIDI file on this one however was obviously downloaded as a Guitar Pro from Ultimate Guitar as I've found the exact Guitar Pro file in a few minutes.
this would've exploded the NES's audio processor if it started playing
OH SHIT! THE BEST BOSS BATTLE MUSIC OF ALL TIME
one bit per string haha
0:27 Epic boss appears.
One of the best comments ever
jbnynja Why thank you :)
Tosin A-BOSS-i appears. sorry.....
Donald Record xD Brilliant.
This is what you hear when you send the Recycle Bin to the Recycle Bin.
this wasn't supposed to happen but i am not complaining

Trainer Tosin would like to battle!
I think you can hear the complexity of the song better in 8-bit. This is sick!
Go, Pikachu!
Wild Tosin used sweep!
...
Pikachu came!
I salute the person who had the patience of making this. Holy fuck

I'm going to make a video game just to use this as boss music.
Is it done yet?
Did you finish it?
No, I pretty promptly realized I didn't actually have any good ideas for a video game and working on my own musical and compositional skills would be a better use of my time. Thanks for checking in though! Haha!
this is the best 8bit song i ever heard
Metroid Metal and Minibosses are awesome. Nice call.
This mix sounds great at half speed too!
Sounds like Wolftenstein at halfspeed 💪

This track has become the cadence I work to in my mind. I am responsible for packaging 120,000 units a day. CAFO has become my processor clock!
Still so heavy I headbanged, haha.
We all did boi.... We all did
The value and effort of whomever constructed this sound still stands.
8-bit music in 720p! Soon, it sounds like real guitars! >.
This would have made me play any NES game just to hear the music! LOL
This version makes it easier to learn the song!
This is glorious beyond words
The song has a "Conquering" vibe to it.
This is what actually plays when you beat Mewtwo with a Magikarp
At 3:56 Link saves Zelda
this video game was made in heaven. final stage… battling the devil
Yaay! 8-Bit rocks!!! ^_^
Amazing track, flawless cover^^
No, you hear this, but in an a-minor chord version. And maybe a BSOD.
This is the song you hear when you fight the boss of the internet.
the music for the final boss of the internet
this is unbelievably cool
im in love with that version *.*
just epic
Well, that's awkward.
Still found myself air-guitaring from 2:25 to 3:15
Now THAT'S power.
Super Mario on mescaline :D .. going super slow motion effect seen in movies
Listen to it in 240p if you are legit
Thanks for the download, this song is amazing in both the real version and 8-bit!
Freakin Castlevania type stuff
Much like the original version and my biological nervous system, my computers brain just exploded all over the wall.
@Anotherlast9 i would think the average person tabs out the song on guitar pro or a program similar that can export midi files, then they import into an 8bit program called gsxcc or something and export from that
Wow
@SevenStringShredHead OMG i was thinking the same thing
This is the best! :D
Hahaha! yes!
@LobeSmoke There's dozens of websites that will convert youtube links into downloadable mp3's for free.
Epic
this is amazing.
This is what you will hear after mankind evolves into something more....something greater.
Final level
1 life remaining

Someone should take the guitarist out of this game, and put him irl. Lol.

@knoxled You just found another way to divide by zero!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @.@

Mario has this on his ipod.

@SevenStringShredHead Aww...Did you already lose Yoshi?

@brienooy I just tested it and it worked just fine for me.
***** Use this in one of your videos!
Thanks
I realize this is pretty old, but is there a MIDI file anywhere available for download? I want to have my floppy drives play it.
Blorkus You can convert it into mp3 with a youtube converter.
Tom Molka unfortunately I cannot use mp3, I need midi or sheet music. Thanks though.
Late, LATE reply but why would you torture those poor drives like that
actually they are.
Epicosity. Tobuscus would approve.
lmfao!
=
how do you do this?
And I came as well. If you know what I mean
haha touche
@knoxled lmfao
@lespaulcustom311 yeahh,,,
@brienooy You right click it and save as?
YES!No dis-likes! XD
Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
How do you make this? do you have an 8 bit music maker?
Most DAW's can change Bit rates too whatever you like
Neat.
***** You can't make this kind of sound with just lowering the sample rate. You got to have a MIDI of this song and make the sounds yourself ;)
The MIDI was probably transcribed by ear, sound synthesis is an art of itself it isn't easy to master.

@SevenStringShredHead LEEEEEERRRROOOOOYYYYY UUGHNNNJJJEEEEEEEEEENNNNKKIINNNZZZZZZ
8 bit = me jizzing all over the place
Tosin used Javier
Navene quit....
Drumming in the verse starting at 3:15 is a bit wrong, the snare is a note late. It's ok though :-) I forgive you
Even Action 52?
@PrimalDirective Lol you are silly.
