I do not understand why the French keep using “top” and other modern American words and terms. I watch Météo à la Carte everyday and almost every serie is permeated with injections of Anglo terms. As a linguist and a purist I find this very poor and degradation of such a perfect and beautiful language. Where is the Académie Française, the most prestigious Institution? Je suis triste!

As a linguist and a purist I find this very poor and degradation of such a perfect and beautiful language. Where is the Academie Francaise, the most prestigious Institution? Je suis triste!
