It was a violent process for me to walk away from homosexuality and a same sex marriage of 7 yrs. It utterly broke me before God. As I began to grow in the Lord, I begin to feel his nudge, and then came the day that he was calling me to action. I had the perfect life by the world definitions, the perfect partner I had always wanted since my little boy self, we had a beautiful home, and beautiful friends. It cost me everything to walk away, and I had to lay on a bed of suffering, but the Lord is my Redeemer, and I am more concerned about my eternal reward and my eternal salvation with him. I cannot tell you the amount of peace. He fills my soul with now. Thank you Jesus, even though I begged you not to go through it.
What was violent about it? Did someone abuse you?
The violence was the battle in my soul to let go. My flesh was accustomed to it. Satan was not so easily going to let go. It was a deep inner battle and it was violent. I now understand that verse, the kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. I had to be violent towards the violence that was coming against the kingdom of God in me. The devil is never going to wave a white flag. We must go against him hard and kill our flesh. It took a while for the word of God to renew my mind, and for healing to take place in my soul. But I had to keep trusting God.

My husband left me with 3 young children to go off with a man. My children who are now grown up (brought up as catholics) still have problems psychologically because of their abandonment. He then committed suicide!
Somehow God stood by me and we struggled for years but I was able to give them a home, education and as much love as I could.
You did great. What a terrible shock to you when your husband left you and three little children who needed their father. Whatever the reason he left, it was selfish . It left devastation for four people to whom he had made a long term commitment . You picked up the pieces of what should have been, and made things good and right. Those children had a good home, had a loving parent, did not miss out on education. Through your faith in God you found the strength, God’s strength. God bless you for staying the course.

Excuse me, what does your story have to do with homosexuality? You had a terrible experience with a person who was selfish towards you and his children. It happens all the time, does it not? It was very wrong that you got engaged with such a person, in the first place.

As a man who struggles being SSA and wanting to lead a Christian life I would like to highlight what the blonde hair lady said that it is a heavy cross to bear/ tremendous suffering in grappling with SSA desires and everything that comes with it. Being this way produces loneliness for the most part for LGBT people and it is why so many choose to drugs/substances, lots of casual sex and suicide. Yet I’ll keep trying to walk with Jesus and see where it goes. For no amount of sex, drugs, fleeting moments of pleasure can fill the void in each of us as humans but God through His Son our Lord Jesus Christ.
No temporary pleasures will satisfy even if it were with women just know Jesus loves you more than any man ever could. Everyone in life eventually lets us down even our family but there’s one that’s always there loving us, healing us and giving us peace of heart. God bless you friend. ❤
Brother, everyone has some struggle with lust. The day the struggle stops is when we die. SSA is a difficult cross but so is being unable to get married for any other reasons. And also getting married to quench lust isnt the right reason, this is why so many marriages fail. Because God wasnt part of the equation 😢 i wish you the best and may Our Lady keep you on the path of purity and salvation. It is possible, i have a past too. Lots of us do. Keep friends in Church, you will never be alone.

My older son, and my older male friend were sexualy molested as young as 8 and 12. They are both gay and both have schizophrenia.

My life is full of sadness for these men, especially for my grown son😢. He has had a horrible igistance and also my friend. My grandson is 24 and hides his symptoms until he gets upset, then I see them. He also cannot hold a job. I do not, sadly, see a good future for him.

I was sexually abused by my parents and their friends and they called themselves religious. They have done this to 4 children that are now grown. They hate me and say I'm the liar. I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I've had 3 breakdowns. My life lonely and miserable and alone. I am on medication for the rest of my life. It hurts to have your family turn on you when you speak the truth . I have difficulty socializing and gave up on making friends after I found that the church was full of pious frauds. They admonished me for asking questions they didn't like. I've grown tired of people. This Psalm describes my feelings. This is very relatable

I have seen evidence from a man who went to a gay bar and asked where did your homosexuality come from? All of them said " I was molested by an older male usually by a relative. It amazed me because i saw for the first time that it was so prevalent and the pain from the stories that they told was on thier faces. It was so sad and it made me realize exactly the devils schemes how evil molestation is and how it corrupts so many childrens souls.
I read an article by a psychiatrist who said that most gay males had their first sexual experience with a male, often groomed.

It's partly true, there is a lot of grooming by older males that would be seen as inappropriate in a heterosexual relationship, but is seen as normal in gay ones. However, some SSA young men put themselves in harm's way, then claim they were molested "turning" them to a gay lifestyle. Sympathetic but sceptical is my response, based on gay friends when I was younger who told a similar story. Their enthusiastic embrace of the lifestyle was certainly not a result of trauma.

Im now 45, my dad died of cancer at 96 two yrs ago. But im still plagued with those things i saw. 😢 but i love my father so much and miss him with ALL my heart.❤ RIP

I’m an adult child of a lesbian mom. I must say, it is hard to say that it hurt me and my life deeply. I’m 45 and hate to admit that because I love her so much and don’t want to hurt her. I did miss my father deeply, I have a hard time interpreting men and their behavior. There was abuse, substance abuse and mental health issues in my family and all the following trauma that comes after that. The gay community I grew up in had very very high permiscueity. I really witnessed to much as a young girl. I’m thankful I didn’t get caught up in it myself but I was definitely witness.
We knew a couple, who were lesbians. One of them was married to a man, thus producing a child or two.
These two women had more freaking drama and anger than a sane person could ever dream of understanding.
Glorification of sexual deviancy for pleasure, and “recognition” is a destructive battle against our Creator.
The Bible says in the last days, it will “be as in the days of Noah”…
How horrific was it in those days that God decided to flood the world?

The answer is NOT to sit around waiting for someone who died 2000 years ago to come back to life and save you. That's ridiculous. How the Rosary Converted a Satanist Priest Bartolo Longo (1841-1926) to Saint.
No one is beyond redemption.
Bartolo was born to a devout Catholic family near Brindisi, in southern Italy. He was a brilliant, though mischievous kid, who began to lose his way at the age of ten after his mother died. His adolescence was a time of great upheaval in his country, when Garabaldi was seeking to eliminate the papal city states and unite Italy. By the time Bartolo entered the University of Naples law school, many of his professors were ex-priests preaching nationalist venom against the Church. He was quickly caught up in their fervor. “I, too, grew to hate monks, priests and the Pope,” he would later write, “and in particular [I detested] the Dominicans, the most formidable, furious opponents of those great modern professors, proclaimed by the university the sons of progress, the defenders of science, the champions of every sort of freedom.”
In his confusion and emptiness, without God to turn to, he began to visit some of Naples’ infamous mediums. That was his introduction into the occult. Soon, his thirst for the supernatural led him into outright Satanism, where after a period of intense study and such rigorous fasting that he was reduced to skin and bones, he was consecrated a satanic priest and promised his soul to a demon. For the next year, he began to preside over satanic services and to preach more boldly and blasphemously against God and the Church - treating them, in a diabolical reversal, as the real evils.
His family back home tried to talk him about of the path he had chosen, to no avail. The began to pray and to ask for help from whoever might lend a hand. Professor Vincenzo Pepe, a solidly Catholic professor at the university, responded. He began to meet with Bartolo, accosting him, “Do you want to die in an insane asylum and be damned forever?” Bartolo couldn’t ignore the psychological and physiological state he was in. Professor Pepe eventually convinced him to see a Dominican priest, who after three weeks of lengthy conversations, on the feast of the Sacred Heart in 1865, was able to welcome him back into the Church and give him absolution.
To keep an eye on him, Professor Pepe allowed Bartolo to move in with him and started to surround him with faithful and dedicated Catholics. Each day for two years, as a voluntarily-imposed penance, Bartolo worked in the Neapolitan Hospital for Incurables. He prayed. He became a third-order Dominican. He made a promise of celibacy to serve God with an undivided heart. He sought to do reparation for his scandal by returning to his Satanist hangouts, holding up the Rosary and publicly renouncing his former ways.
But he still despaired. He couldn’t forgive himself or see how God could ever forgive him. One day, while fulfilling some legal business in Pompeii for his client Countess Mariana di Fusco, and seeing how great was the people’s poverty, ignorance, moral corruption and dependence on witchcraft, God helped him to see both how he could be saved and how he could spend his life saving others.
“One day in the fields around Pompeii,” he wrote, “I recalled my former condition as a priest of Satan… I thought that perhaps as the priesthood of Christ is for eternity, so also the priesthood of Satan is for eternity. So, despite my repentance, I thought: I am still consecrated to Satan, and I am still his slave and property as he awaits me in Hell. As I pondered over my condition, I experienced a deep sense of despair and almost committed suicide. I am donor convinced... it effects my life every single day. I have no idea who my father is. I'm greatful to be alive. God has a purpose for me. But not a single day goes by that I don't wonder. Who he is? So I have half siblings? Does he ever wonder if children came form his donations? Is he even alive? Do I look like him? It weighs on me everyday. I have never ever expressed any of this to my mother. But it is a daily struggle that only became worse after I became a parent. I see my child's features and see my husband's In her. I look nothing like my Mother's side of the family. So I wonder all the time if I look like my father. It will be a lifetime struggle I personally suffer from. I completely agree with everything from this.

How the Rosary Converted a Satanist Priest Bartolo Longo (1841-1926) to Saint.
No one is beyond redemption.
Bartolo was born to a devout Catholic family near Brindisi, in southern Italy. He was a brilliant, though mischievous kid, who began to lose his way at the age of ten after his mother died. His adolescence was a time of great upheaval in his country, when Garabaldi was seeking to eliminate the papal city states and unite Italy. By the time Bartolo entered the University of Naples law school, many of his professors were ex-priests preaching nationalist venom against the Church. He was quickly caught up in their fervor. “I, too, grew to hate monks, priests and the Pope,” he would later write, “and in particular [I detested] the Dominicans, the most formidable, furious opponents of those great modern professors, proclaimed by the university the sons of progress, the defenders of science, the champions of every sort of freedom.”
In his confusion and emptiness, without God to turn to, he began to visit some of Naples’ infamous mediums. That was his introduction into the occult. Soon, his thirst for the supernatural led him into outright Satanism, where after a period of intense study and such rigorous fasting that he was reduced to skin and bones, he was consecrated a satanic priest and promised his soul to a demon. For the next year, he began to preside over satanic services and to preach more boldly and blasphemously against God and the Church - treating them, in a diabolical reversal, as the real evils.
His family back home tried to talk him about of the path he had chosen, to no avail. The began to pray and to ask for help from whoever might lend a hand. Professor Vincenzo Pepe, a solidly Catholic professor at the university, responded. He began to meet with Bartolo, accosting him, “Do you want to die in an insane asylum and be damned forever?” Bartolo couldn’t ignore the psychological and physiological state he was in. Professor Pepe eventually convinced him to see a Dominican priest, who after three weeks of lengthy conversations, on the feast of the Sacred Heart in 1865, was able to welcome him back into the Church and give him absolution.
To keep an eye on him, Professor Pepe allowed Bartolo to move in with him and started to surround him with faithful and dedicated Catholics. Each day for two years, as a voluntarily-imposed penance, Bartolo worked in the Neapolitan Hospital for Incurables. He prayed. He became a third-order Dominican. He made a promise of celibacy to serve God with an undivided heart. He sought to do reparation for his scandal by returning to his Satanist hangouts, holding up the Rosary and publicly renouncing his former ways.
But he still despaired. He couldn’t forgive himself or see how God could ever forgive him. One day, while fulfilling some legal business in Pompeii for his client Countess Mariana di Fusco, and seeing how great was the people’s poverty, ignorance, moral corruption and dependence on witchcraft, God helped him to see both how he could be saved and how he could spend his life saving others.
“One day in the fields around Pompeii,” he wrote, “I recalled my former condition as a priest of Satan… I thought that perhaps as the priesthood of Christ is for eternity, so also the priesthood of Satan is for eternity. So, despite my repentance, I thought: I am still consecrated to Satan, and I am still his slave and property as he awaits me in Hell. As I pondered over my condition, I experienced a deep sense of despair and almost committed suicide. I have a lesbian aunt. I had to stop talking to her because when I with her and her mate, I can’t be myself, I have to deny my beliefs and everything I believe in, also politics. Yet, they both get to say whatever they want. I kept quiet because I know these two have strong dominant and angry voices if I were to oppose them. They don’t know how much of myself I have to suppress in order to be with them. I will love them from afar.
Yes, same thing with our homosexual nephew and his parents. They have free speech, but we don't. His mother just cut us off completely because my husband dared to speak the truth to her. All we can do is pray.🙏🌹

They will never be happy doing what we know is not correct. The mind cannot live with itself in this turmoil . Man passing any law they like will not change the outcome.
My sister chose a lesbian lifestlye, and via invitro using same sperm donor became pregnant after her partner could not become pregnant. She had my son and a daughter. My sister separated from her partner, when the kids were in Jr high and highschool respectively, and when my sister's daughter was in her senior year, got together with another partner. It was so hard for my parents and my husband and I, but we set boundaries which was hard for my other siblings and their spouses and families to understand, even though we all were raised and were living our Catholic Faith. Yes, the kids struggle. My sister was hard on her son to point he left at 18. Her daughter is going to college but has been encouraged to date both sexes, but she is very bitter. I pray for them all daily. The whole life choice was very hard on my parents.

I suspect that the claim that 'my DNA made me that way is the new age version of 'the devil made me do it'. Ponder the ancient origin of the word devil. Is it merely a coincidence that 'devil' is 'lived' spelled backwards and was that ancient culture's word for an uncleaned departed spirit. So I think that the same culture introduced the theological principle that all sexual activity outside of heterosexual, secularly legalized marriage was a deadly sin.

I completely agree with this video. Unfortunately, I am attracted to other males and it has been nothing but misery for me. Last year was the worst. I'm 37 and met a much younger guy buying a fender for my car on marketplace. He treated me like I was the most amazing person he had ever met and we saw each other for over 5 months. I fell for him very quickly and did everything I could to show him I cared deepy for him and he just got colder and colder towards me. I believe I was dealing with a narcissist. This was the most painful experience in my entire life and I'm still not healed from it. Looking back I thank God it ended because I completely forgot about my faith while with him. I still have these desires and I want them to leave me but I really dont know what to do. I dont want to be alone for the rest of my life either. Please pray for me to be able to repent from this terrible sin.
I haven't been in a relationship since 2016, maybe it's different for women, but no sex doesn't bother me and this time alone has allowed me to really explore what love is and to distinguish between love and lust and what is better for me, I feel happy on my own, it would be nice to meet a man...but does my life, my happiness depend on it? I am not a Catholic but I commend you for speaking out and educating people especially when the Pope has blessed these unions. Glad to see there are some Catholics who believe what God's word, the Bible, actually says regarding homosexuality which is an abomination and explicitly calling it unnatural - "going after strange flesh".

Wow! Just this week my sister and I were discussing how every single gay person we know looks awful for their age. They all seem to have spindly legs and protruding abdomins and major health issues. We were saying that you could never find studies done on it because of the societal pressures, etc.

I am gay and so was my Twin brother. My brother, a nurse was murdered!!! Shortly after his funeral some woman told me that his murder was a message from God. She told me my twin brother is in Hell and that I will be joining him if I dont change!! My brother and I have been gay ever since I can remember. That is a really mean and self righteous thing to say. However, I do the nk all of us as Christians would benefit from taking the reality of Hell seriously. There are many people who have died and gone there and returned to testify of it: some atheists, some religious of all denominations... A lot of them Christians who report witnessing many Christians there. What church teaches about salvation is not what Jesus teaches, there is not enough emphasis on his actual words which do indeed warn us of Hell many times.

No one is beyond redemption.
Bartolo was born to a devout Catholic family near Brindisi, in southern Italy. He was a brilliant, though mischievous kid, who began to lose his way at the age of ten after his mother died. His adolescence was a time of great upheaval in his country, when Garabaldi was seeking to eliminate the papal city states and unite Italy. By the time Bartolo entered the University of Naples law school, many of his professors were ex-priests preaching nationalist venom against the Church. He was quickly caught up in their fervor. “I, too, grew to hate monks, priests and the Pope,” he would later write, “and in particular [I detested] the Dominicans, the most formidable, furious opponents of those great modern professors, proclaimed by the university the sons of progress, the defenders of science, the champions of every sort of freedom.”
In his confusion and emptiness, without God to turn to, he began to visit some of Naples’ infamous mediums. That was his introduction into the occult. Soon, his thirst for the supernatural led him into outright Satanism, where after a period of intense study and such rigorous fasting that he was reduced to skin and bones, he was consecrated a satanic priest and promised his soul to a demon. For the next year, he began to preside over satanic services and to preach more boldly and blasphemously against God and the Church - treating them, in a diabolical reversal, as the real evils.
His family back home tried to talk him about of the path he had chosen, to no avail. The began to pray and to ask for help from whoever might lend a hand. Professor Vincenzo Pepe, a solidly Catholic professor at the university, responded. He began to meet with Bartolo, accosting him, “Do you want to die in an insane asylum and be damned forever?” Bartolo couldn’t ignore the psychological and physiological state he was in. Professor Pepe eventually convinced him to see a Dominican priest, who after three weeks of lengthy conversations, on the feast of the Sacred Heart in 1865, was able to welcome him back into the Church and give him absolution.
To keep an eye on him, Professor Pepe allowed Bartolo to move in with him and started to surround him with faithful and dedicated Catholics. Each day for two years, as a voluntarily-imposed penance, Bartolo worked in the Neapolitan Hospital for Incurables. He prayed. He became a third-order Dominican. He made a promise of celibacy to serve God with an undivided heart. He sought to do reparation for his scandal by returning to his Satanist hangouts, holding up the Rosary and publicly renouncing his former ways.
But he still despaired. He couldn’t forgive himself or see how God could ever forgive him. One day, while fulfilling some legal business in Pompeii for his client Countess Mariana di Fusco, and seeing how great was the people’s poverty, ignorance, moral corruption and dependence on witchcraft, God helped him to see both how he could be saved and how he could spend his life saving others.
“One day in the fields around Pompeii,” he wrote, “I recalled my former condition as a priest of Satan… I thought that perhaps as the priesthood of Christ is for eternity, so also the priesthood of Satan is for eternity. So, despite my repentance, I thought: I am still consecrated to Satan, and I am still his slave and property as he awaits me in Hell. As I pondered over my condition, I experienced a deep sense of despair and almost committed suicide. Then I heard an echo in my ear of the voice of Friar Alberto repeating the words of the Blessed Virgin Mary: ‘One who propagates my Rosary shall be saved.’ Falling to my knees, I exclaimed: ‘If your words are true that he who propagates your Rosary will be saved, I shall reach salvation because I shall not leave this earth without propagating your Rosary.'”
He spent the whole rest of his life, beginning in Pompeii, propagating the Rosary and imitating the mysteries it contained. With the financial support of the Countess, he built Pompeii’s famous Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, founded elementary schools and orphanages, inaugurated a print shop and technical school to give the children of convicted criminals the chance of a better life. He wrote books on the Rosary, composed novenas and prayer manuals. The former Satanist eventually became a friend of Pope Leo XIII, who had a great devotion to the Rosary. From Pompeii he also began the popular movement that led to the solemn dogmatic proclamation of the Assumption in 1950.
Perhaps his most lasting contribution of all will prove to be the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary. It was from Blessed Bartolo’s writings that Pope John Paul II found not only the idea of mysteries covering the time of Jesus’ public ministry, but also what the individual mysteries should be and what all five as a whole should be called. When he proposed the new Mysteries of Light in his 2002 encyclical “The Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” Pope John Paul II didn’t hesitate to show his admiration for this holy man whose conversion and subsequent holy life demonstrate that no matter how far away from the faith one is, there’s always hope. After referring to Blessed Bartolo’s insights throughout his Rosary encyclical, Pope John Paul II concluded by quoting the prayer of the man he beatified in 1980.
This prayer is a fitting way for us to conclude the month of the Rosary and to pray for those who, like Blessed Bartolo once was, are still caught under the bondage of Satanism and the occult:
“O Blessed Rosary of Mary, sweet chain that unites us to God, bond of love that unites us to the angels, tower of salvation against the assaults of Hell, safe port in our universal shipwreck, we will never abandon you. You will be our comfort in the hour of death: yours our final kiss as life ebbs away. The reason why the rosary is so powerful is because every component of it comes from heaven. The Our Father was taught by Jesus and the “Hail Mary, full of grace” etc was said by Angel Gabriel the other lines come from the bible (Luke 1:28, 1:42, 1:43 & James 5:16). Praying the rosary is meditating on the life of Jesus from birth to death. It is prayed during exorcisms and also as a form of self-exorcism

My wife was adopted by two women. She is now 60 yrs. Old and wonders about her biological mother and father and wonders if she has brothers and sisters. She asked her adopted mom and the response was, "don't you love Me? We chose you". And the sad part is my wife said she never had the love of an earthly father. 😢 She has no biological family! And the one's that adopted her have passed away.

We are a heterosexual couple, we adopted 3 (unwanted) embryos...all 3 were implanted in my girlfriend...we now have a beautiful girl. It makes me wonder how this would affect my daughter in the long run...she has full brothers and sisters from the biological donors who made too many embryos. I am heterosexual and always have been and I am married, and we have children that God has blessed us with. How the Rosary Converted a Satanist Priest Bartolo Longo (1841-1926) to Saint.
No one is beyond redemption.
Bartolo was born to a devout Catholic family near Brindisi, in southern Italy. He was a brilliant, though mischievous kid, who began to lose his way at the age of ten after his mother died. His adolescence was a time of great upheaval in his country, when Garabaldi was seeking to eliminate the papal city states and unite Italy. By the time Bartolo entered the University of Naples law school, many of his professors were ex-priests preaching nationalist venom against the Church. He was quickly caught up in their fervor. “I, too, grew to hate monks, priests and the Pope,” he would later write, “and in particular [I detested] the Dominicans, the most formidable, furious opponents of those great modern professors, proclaimed by the university the sons of progress, the defenders of science, the champions of every sort of freedom.”
In his confusion and emptiness, without God to turn to, he began to visit some of Naples’ infamous mediums. That was his introduction into the occult. Soon, his thirst for the supernatural led him into outright Satanism, where after a period of intense study and such rigorous fasting that he was reduced to skin and bones, he was consecrated a satanic priest and promised his soul to a demon. For the next year, he began to preside over satanic services and to preach more boldly and blasphemously against God and the Church - treating them, in a diabolical reversal, as the real evils.
His family back home tried to talk him about of the path he had chosen, to no avail. The began to pray and to ask for help from whoever might lend a hand. Professor Vincenzo Pepe, a solidly Catholic professor at the university, responded. He began to meet with Bartolo, accosting him, “Do you want to die in an insane asylum and be damned forever?” Bartolo couldn’t ignore the psychological and physiological state he was in. Professor Pepe eventually convinced him to see a Dominican priest, who after three weeks of lengthy conversations, on the feast of the Sacred Heart in 1865, was able to welcome him back into the Church and give him absolution.
To keep an eye on him, Professor Pepe allowed Bartolo to move in with him and started to surround him with faithful and dedicated Catholics. Each day for two years, as a voluntarily-imposed penance, Bartolo worked in the Neapolitan Hospital for Incurables. He prayed. He became a third-order Dominican. He made a promise of celibacy to serve God with an undivided heart. He sought to do reparation for his scandal by returning to his Satanist hangouts, holding up the Rosary and publicly renouncing his former ways.
But he still despaired. He couldn’t forgive himself or see how God could ever forgive him. One day, while fulfilling some legal business in Pompeii for his client Countess Mariana di Fusco, and seeing how great was the people’s poverty, ignorance, moral corruption and dependence on witchcraft, God helped him to see both how he could be saved and how he could spend his life saving others.
“One day in the fields around Pompeii,” he wrote, “I recalled my former condition as a priest of Satan… I thought that perhaps as the priesthood of Christ is for eternity, so also the priesthood of Satan is for eternity. So, despite my repentance, I thought: I am still consecrated to Satan, and I am still his slave and property as he awaits me in Hell. As I pondered over my condition, I experienced a deep sense of despair and almost committed suicide. Then I heard an echo in my ear of the voice of Friar Alberto repeating the words of the Blessed Virgin Mary: ‘One who propagates my Rosary shall be saved.’ Falling to my knees, I exclaimed: ‘If your words are true that he who propagates your Rosary will be saved, I shall reach salvation because I shall not leave this earth without propagating your Rosary.'”
He spent the whole rest of his life, beginning in Pompeii, propagating the Rosary and imitating the mysteries it contained. With the financial support of the Countess, he built Pompeii’s famous Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, founded elementary schools and orphanages, inaugurated a print shop and technical school to give the children of convicted criminals the chance of a better life. He wrote books on the Rosary, composed novenas and prayer manuals. The former Satanist eventually became a friend of Pope Leo XIII, who had a great devotion to the Rosary. From Pompeii he also began the popular movement that led to the solemn dogmatic proclamation of the Assumption in 1950.
Perhaps his most lasting contribution of all will prove to be the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary. It was from Blessed Bartolo’s writings that Pope John Paul II found not only the idea of mysteries covering the time of Jesus’ public ministry, but also what the individual mysteries should be and what all five as a whole should be called. When he proposed the new Mysteries of Light in his 2002 encyclical “The Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” Pope John Paul II didn’t hesitate to show his admiration for this holy man whose conversion and subsequent holy life demonstrate that no matter how far away from the faith one is, there’s always hope. After referring to Blessed Bartolo’s insights throughout his Rosary encyclical, Pope John Paul II concluded by quoting the prayer of the man he beatified in 1980.
This prayer is a fitting way for us to conclude the month of the Rosary and to pray for those who, like Blessed Bartolo once was, are still caught under the bondage of Satanism and the occult:
“O Blessed Rosary of Mary, sweet chain that unites us to God, bond of love that unites us to the angels, tower of salvation against the assaults of Hell, safe port in our universal shipwreck, we will never abandon you. You will be our comfort in the hour of death: yours our final kiss as life ebbs away. And the last word from our lips will be your sweet name, O Queen of the Rosary of Pompei, O dearest Mother, O Refuge of Sinners, O Sovereign Consoler of the Afflicted. May you be everywhere blessed, today and always, on earth and in heaven.”

The 150 Davidic Psalms (the Psalter of David) have always been prayed by Old Testament Israel, post-Temple Jews, and by Christians for personal prayer, communal prayer, lamentations, praise, thanksgiving, and, in the case of Christians, to demonstrate the fulfilment of prophecy.
The reason why the rosary is so powerful is because every component of it comes from heaven. The Our Father was taught by Jesus and the “Hail Mary, full of grace” etc was said by Angel Gabriel the other lines come from the bible (Luke 1:28, 1:42, 1:43 & James 5:16). Praying the rosary is meditating on the life of Jesus from birth to death. It is prayed during exorcisms and also as a form of self-exorcism
