well done again Agnes! For me are at least 4 years without drinking a single drop of a French grape variety since we moved to Sardinia. When I was in Belgium, in Bruges, I had the opportunity to drink French and other world wine countries any time I would..plenty of choices both in supermarkets or professional wine sellers. I had an Hermitage wine from "Cave de tain de l'Hermitage" if I remember well at a BBQ in one of the few hot Belgian summers and...what a hell of a wine it was! Fantastic!! Cheerrs Agnes, alla prossima
I think it is one of the absolutely beautiful wine making region (wine and area) and definitely will increase in the importance in the future. 🍷 Cheers!
Great video. Huge fan of Saint-Joesph. Domaine Coursodon Le Paradis Blanc and Rouge are wonderful and very reasonably priced. And who doesn’t like a LaLa. Cheers.
Thank You! 🙌🙌🙌 I don’t have much opportunities to taste the LaLa wines, but I do enjoy Côte-Rôtie quite a lot. Actually Northern Rhone reds have grown on me. 🍷
Love northern Rhone. Coincidentally, we are enjoying a 2013 Cornas from Perrin this weekend. Beautiful. The pair of reds we are tasting blind in a couple of weeks with friends will be: N v S Rhone, 2015 ( Crozes v Gigondas). I have two bottles of 2010 Hermitage: when to open the first one? Not before 2025, I think. The 2013 Cote Roties are drinking beautifully at the moment, incidentally. I also enjoy the occasional bottle of Condrieu but it is becoming expensive. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
It must not be that great if it's not a major player! 😁 Thanks for the education. Northern Rhone is interesting to me. Syrah was one of my winter red fascinations. Been going for Crozes as Hermitage tends to be rather pricey. I've has some really good ones, but I can't say that I have it mapped out in my head exactly. I'll figure it out eventually. Maybe :p
Hahaha, I see what You did there! 😅🫣 Yes, Hermitage is definitely towards the premium price, which is why it is always worth discovering other wine regions, as You mentioned. 🙏🏻
You do an outstanding job introducing us to different wines. You might consider marketing a map summarizing the regions of French viniculture; there are so many renowned and unique production areas, big and small, and even on different sides of a river we can find vast differences in familiar and less well-known wine styles. You could also market Italian wine region maps, German Riesling maps, and the list goes on. I don’t mean singling out individual producers. It would help to place a region visually when you talk about them, and when we go to choose wines as consumers.
Yves Gangloff is a rockstar maker. His Cote Rotie and Condrieu are magical. You just have to find his wines! Adore Condrieu. ❤️ But Yves Cuilleron’s La Digue is a superb Roussanne.
It really is, I fell in live with Rioja as I started my wine journey. And then somehow I moved to other wine regions, but now that I am back, I understand why it was so easy to love their wines.
Khmm, I actually trust some of my colleagues very much, even though they are not official critics. Likewise, I Decanter World Wine Awards has been something I follow a lot. 🙏🏻

Great North Rhone summary. I prefer the North Rhone wines to the much more heralded Bordeaux and Burgundy regions.
I think it is one of the absolutely beautiful wine making region (wine and area) and definitely will increase in the importance in the future. 🍷 Cheers!
I have walked the Nth Rhone from south to north over 4 days. A great way to see the area. 🍷🥾
That sounds like something I would love to do. And You certainly now know by heart the topography of the area! 🙌
@@NoSediment you're so sweet and precious 💗 💖 💓 💛
Wow. Jeff here. I just discovered your channel and you are amazing. I LOVE clear, intelligent concise information

Fantastic summary of N. Rhone! Your videos are always good, short and sweet.. direct to the point..thank you
Well done ! Great wine region. Hermitage is amazing. Also love them Condrieu's ! Fave is probably La Doriane by Guigal...
Great video. Huge fan of Saint-Joesph. Domaine Coursodon Le Paradis Blanc and Rouge are wonderful and very reasonably priced. And who doesn’t like a LaLa. Cheers.

I hear Hermitage, and my mouth fills with excitement. 🤤 yeah, I think it should be beautiful now and for the next ten years hopefully! 🤞🍷

Great! Did you make and episode on Roussillon wines? We would be delighted to welcome you in our beautiful region 😊
Thank You! 🙏🏻 No, actually, we haven’t made a video on Roussillon wines yet. 🥲 We would love to though! 🙌
@@NoSediment Well, do not hesitate to get back to us if you’re coming! ☺️ Cheers 🍷
Perfect timing as I just finished my Rhone sections for WSET 3 ! 😉 thank you again !

Great idea to think about! 🙌🙌🙌 Thank You!
Love to see more on Cote Rotie and Condrieu
Thank You, will keep that in mind for my next videos! 🍷🍷🍷
Cornas is a hidden gem, I really enjoy the wines from Vincent Paris, La Geynale is worth seeking out.
Couldn’t agree more! 🙌🙌🙌
How about a video on the Roussanne wines you mentioned? I’ve never had one and would be interested in recommendations of where to start 😀
Thank You, I will keep that in mind! 🙌
Are those the twins from the Shining on your shelf?
Yes, these are the twins! 🫡
While we are on the subject of what’s on the shelf, what is the story behind the goalie mask? Apologies if the question has been asked before.
It looks like Jason’s hockey mask from Friday the 13th. Wine and scary movies… perfect pairing?
Cornas is a hidden superstar.
Insane good wines, at a good prise. if you can finde them. 😁
Agree! 💯
How about a comparative tasting of Cote Brune and Cote Blonde?
Sounds perfect, really great idea! Will
Keep that in mind! 🙏🏻🍷 Cheers!

No problems Agnese 👍
I would like to know more about Saint Joseph appellations Blanco
Great, such a nice topic though! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
We opened a 2016 MARSANNE LAST NIGHT. It was a light yellow.
My guess was it was
Past its prime me not much fruit or any hints of flavor .
Well, I wouldn’t judge wine solely on color alone, however, if the fruit is gone, it might be done. ☹️
Aces High!
My least drunk region. Sounds delicious, though.

Want to know more about Saint Peray and Chateau Grillet
Chateau Grillet I actually have in my cellar, we could even do tasting’ 🙌
I know you are from the Netherlands just come out with it!
Hahaha, why would You think that?
cause you look and sound like Eva Vlaardingerbroek @@NoSediment
Her face reminds me of Gibi Asmr, so uncanny in a good way. Lol
I like your vizsla! 🦮
