Just discovered this after going through a multitude of both manual and battery driven pepper mills; none that suited me because of my lack of hand strength. This is perfect for me and I've ordered another 3 in different colours as I am a big fan of the more unusual peppers. Well made and comes out perfectly (I prefer a very fine grind most of the time. Here in England we tend to pronounce it as "Purr-sheow."
LOL I sure hope that it is. I have been using it to grind pepper like a boss for several years. Great question though because Peugeot makes cars too! Maybe I need to pull out my keys and see if I can start an engine and go for a drive?
I received one for Christmas. It works great but the directions were totally wrong. It said the small knobs on the top adjusts the grind. Clearly incorrect.
Check the link within this video's description but it appears to be made out of wood. I've thoroughly enjoyed using this pepper mill so far.....it grinds pepper better than any of the old and cheap plastic ones that I've owned.
The barrel of the mill is solid wood all the way down to the grinding mechanism, which is made of steel. The only time the peppercorn touches plastic is at the very bottom where there is a thin and curved ring of plastic (which supports the mechanism that allows you to choose the grind). Even then, the peppercorn is never ground by the plastic, nor does the steel ever grind the plastic. Basically, it is only the steel mechanism that grinds the peppercorn, there is zero chance that it would cut up the plastic into your ground pepper.
@@adampreen7707 I also stockpile "ammo" (peppercorns). It's never good to reach into the pantry and not have any peppercorns to reload my Peugeot with! #Peugeot

Very cool! I drove a Peugeot car in Anguilla and bought a Peugeot pepper mill. They make quality stuff for sure!
I’d love to see the follow up video on this & a side by side comparison with other Peugeot products.
I need to compare it to a Peugot car!
Is there anywhere on the mill that indicates it’s for pepper?

What size is this pepper grinder?
I linked it within this video’s description.
Are you holding a BLACK color, or DARK BROWN Color one in your video?
Black and I linked it within this video's description.
Your LINK says - Color is Chocolate, not black... please check again? thanks

Yup, bottom part does the grind size.
The adjustment ring on my copy burst, I ordered it from a turner. But I don’t know what to paint it with. Who knows, write.
Just returend one of these sets - the paint cracked after a few days.
You must have gotten a dud. Mine is still as good as new and we use it daily. It's the best pepper mill that I've ever owned.
Can you detect plastic in this mill?

Reload it?! Typical American 😄
LOL if one doesn't reload peppercorns, they will have no pepper to grind =)
@@IrixGuy very true pal! 👍

It’s pronounced “purrr-show”
Thanks and I like that! I never would have expected that. This is an awesome peppermill and it's funny that they make cars too! What a combo!
@@IrixGuyit’s the 4th largest car manufacturer in the world. It owns Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, and Maserati.
@@Strobie_one I didn't know that and the funny thing is that the pepper mills are probably their product that requires the least maintenance =)
