Fallout 4 - Building at County Crossing 04 (Settler Home and Water Pump Pond)

- This series covers the construction of my settlement at County Crossing. Apart from Place Everywhere no settlement object mods were used, and only uses vanilla and DLC objects with some additional assets being spawned using Console Commands.
In the forth part of the series I construct a small settler home that forms part of the settlements main court yard, along with fencing in the small pond and making platforms to access the settlements water pump.

Just give this guy a random house, limited space and confusing terrain, and then KAAAABOOOOOOM - Fiddles gave you an entire village, you're welcome! :]
lol 😅🤣
There is something I find quite relaxing about watching you work. No idea what it is. But it's great to just sit back and watch a master at work creating magic from a blank canvas. Absolutely love what you're doing with a location I find so difficult to deal with.
I second that. I am very fortunate in that I have only just discovered this channel and now have the joy of watching my way through some of the playlists every evening before sleep 😊
@@Vandal_Savage Thanks, and welcome to the channel! I hope you’ll enjoy checking out some of the older builds whilst this one is in progress 😁👍
Many thanks! 🙏😁
@@Vandal_Savage I always move the crops to the edge as soon as I get the settlement.
Came across your videos while looking for some inspiration to build my settlements after getting into fallout 4 again. Your style is amazing and find your videos really relaxing to watch. Keep it up 😊❤
Great to hear you are enjoying the vids, and welcome to the channel! 🥳😁
Sorry I'm so late. I was in the Glowing Sea. It's a long walk back to County Crossing. Really nice build as always.
Thanks! Hope you wiped your feet, don’t want you tracking radiation on to my newly built floors 😝🤣
@@FiddleflapsVids I bathed in your water puddle
Oh no guys he's achieved eternal flow state please someone stop him
lmao 😆👍
I was wondering what you would do with that pond. And I love how it turned out! Great job!
Thanks! It’s a tricky little spot to deal with, wish you could scrap those papers floating the in water but still pleased with how it turned out 😊.
Another great video. I loved what you are doing with CC.
Great to hear you are enjoying it, thanks! 🙏😁
Why is this so awesome? Gah...I love watching u!!!
Great to hear you are enjoying the vids, many thanks! 🙏😁
Hola me encanta tu estilo 😁
Thanks! 🙏😁
Have you ever thought about using a mod to build in all of Jamaica Plain? I feel like you could do something amazing with it !
Always felt the build border at Jamaica Plain was far too small, all that space and they only give us a small chunk of it to play with 😔. If I ever finish my goal of doing one of these vanilla style builds at each location its certainly something I would look into, thanks for the great suggestion 👍
When you post these settlements for download, do you include them fully furnished or just the buildings/resources with no decorations?
They come fully furnished and decorated, basically what you see in the finished tour is how the settlement will import.
❤
Thanks! 🙏😁
will there be videos on building a castle? (I know that there is already one video but I’m interested to know)
No plans to do building vids for the older builds that don’t have them. There are a couple of them that I would like to rebuild differently though at some point (which also includes The Castle 😉), as I feel I could probably do a better job of them now and so would also do building vids for them 👍.
When you're done all of the settlements can you try them again Without mods Well I'm just saying And if you have time
For the most part, Place Anywhere just makes the whole "glitching" stuff easier to do - but just about everything that Fiddleflaps does can be done with glitching, it just takes more time and effort.
I always felt frustrated by the games restrictions and limitations, and while I get that some enjoy the challenge of working around them it’s just one I never found fun. As such building without Place Everywhere is not an option for me, it would simply turn something I find enjoyable into a chore.
@@FiddleflapsVids Well good look for your future settlements
How do lower, and heighten the before placing them
It’s a feature of the Place Everywhere mod, and is done using the arrow keys on the NumPad.
With the new update to Fallout 4 coming soon will this have an effect with Place everywhere?
Unfortunately, yes. I’ll need to wait until the script extender gets updated for the new version, and then I am not sure if the Place Everywhere plugin itself is version dependent and would also need an update. Currently looking at the various methods for locking my Steam install of the game so it does not install what I feel is an un-needed update (at least for PC owners) with just some creation club junk that I'll never use.
Thankfully I have got all the building vids recorded and currently working on the final decorations, so hopefully should be done with the build in case the update does manage to sneak on to my system.
@@FiddleflapsVids Thanks for confirming 👍
Omg the mods helo so much but sadly in ps4 are limited.
I would like to know tricks to build but in vanilla game without dlc.
He sadly no longer plays the game but would highly recommend checking out SarDeliac and his 'Building in Vanilla' streams along with some of his other awesome Fallout 4 content:

It was from watching his streams that I learned a lot of building methods and techniques, and is what ultimately inspired me to start sharing my own builds.
Skooled Zone is also a good channel to watch for vanilla build tricks! Most of the ones I use come from him and SarDeliac too :)
Thwre is a mod that gets rid of the ching sound.
I like the ching sound 🤪😂
Fiddleflaps Vids, I really like your videos! Let's be friends!
Great to hear you are enjoying them, thanks! 🙏😁
