You know that the training on these things often is a half dozen "sit at a computer and watch videos" things and then you're handling live customers solo. Things may have changed but Target used to/does "empower" their cashiers to change the price of an item within reason and within a certain dollar amount if the customer is bitching about the price not being accurate. If this is still the case, it's bullshit that they are charging him with fraud or whatever. If he was doing it for people he knew, that'd be one thing, but if it's strangers he was literally doing his job within his discretion. If they didn't like what he was doing they should have talked to him or at the most fired him for not liking his performance. But a criminal offense? Naw man, that's bullshit.

I can't believe we live in a culture willing to look the other way at customers bullying retail employees (which apparently were the minority) rather than expect someone to go about a simple procedure to get a manager at a retailer known to be generous with price adjustments and corrections.
Obviously, i believe this kid is not about to be a lifelong criminal, but he doesn't get to ignore basic laws and expectations. Nor, do we get to say 'some people are jerks, give them what they want'

I feel sorry for that poor kid from target. He just wanted to shut those customers up and make them go away. And do you think any of them care that he’s now been charged with a crime because they were jerks? Nope.

Always a new job, always kids and always a type of medical problem. Why didn't these matter when she had was doing drugs or alcohol or missing her tests, and someone else tested for her. I knew has soon as I saw Mr Allen standing behind her, she was going to jail.

On top of that instead of taking responsibility, she whined and BS and cried. She thought she was going to get off again, which happens a lot in some cases.

Robin Hood shouldn't be facing charges. Sounds like he just has some social anxiety and didn't want to deal with customers complaining.

That's not it. He was being lazy. Target has a pretty generous policy about price corrections and adjustments. I bet most of his discounts would have been approved by a manager had he asked. If people are upset beyond that, he's not expected to deal with them, the manager is.

That kid was so weird 😂 why would anyone just give discounts out to random people they don’t know for no reason? 😂 strangest case I’ve ever seen 😂

Didn’t make any sense initially to be giving people he didn’t know discounts. I think he’s lying to protect them.

Judge DONT quite know what to make of that, hahahaha priceless I'd seriously consider letting him off, yes he broke the law, not like Target cant stand the loss. it's not like he was giving it away. Charging folks 150% more then it cost's, should be a punishable offense
