As long as u arent on the enemy team when ur flying that plane, then whatever. Really hate having to face good players playing that plane
I tend not to play spitfires much as they really are too easy and I like a challenge...my challenge being the TA-183 I think it is(T8 Focke Wulf). Still, your vid makes me want to buy this plane; I've had it researched but not bought, for a while...must resist!

Sorry for the thread necro, but I needed something to watch during lunch today. I recommend all new pilots go down the Spitfire and Ilyushin lines to start the game. They're good, intuitive planes. By the time you have those to T8, you have the game down enough for variations. YMMV.

What is in your opinion the most powerful/overpowered plane relative to its tier in the game?
For me it'd have to be between the Beaufighter and SpitXIV, with honourable mentions to the likes of the SpitV/DB605, Ki-102 and Me P.1092. Pancake used to be all the way up there, but seems much more in line now after the nerfs...
Ki 84 is in My eyes the strongest fighter tier for tier.

Spitfire has actually got buffed recently with general simpler recovery from stall mechanics, which makes it even more ridiculous when fighting high altitude fighters like Me 209, P-51H or Ta-152. It is unbalanced plane. Decreasing its altitude performance would be the right way to go wg.
deaxter _hero agreed. But while I agree I thing this plane is beatable as long as you give the plane the respect it deserves. I was so out of energy at the start of the battle vs that 209A he could have gotten around on me. I was practically parked at one point... I was lucky to be honest
i think they should lower the manuverability due to how man people have specalized it

the most respected aircraft (Spitfire variant), wish that could have the Seafire for tier 7 and the Spiteful & Sea Fury for tier 8 planes premium.
I wish the Spitfire got buff slightly in which able to duel with Zeros in turning fight.
I hope it got equivalent with Zeros turning rate, Vee Bat, could you do the Americans fighters, from the P-40 till to P-51H, for upcoming video

Are you high???? The Spitfires are the most rediculus thing this game has!! Whats wrong? You cannot outurn the Zeros??? You can do everything else with them! Outspeed them,outclimb them,outgun them in a head on...Whats the purpose of playing every other line if the Spitfires are the best at every-single-thing?! Lets give them bombs and rockets as well...

Spits are overpowered, they were kinda garbage in real life and BTW the XIV is altitude version, they were not capable of keeping up with 109s and 190s... 190 and 109 was OP against them untill Spit IX. Or i would say they are not overpowered, just germans are underpowered :D for example just to step away from germans (i know most about them) Thunderbolt was also different story in real war. :) Where are Aircobras? Gun and canon ranges are unbalanced across the game, russians had missifirng ammo and they were low on gun powder whole war, why do they have best range?
