I had a tooth extraction yesterday. I made sure I ate well before the appointment. Then after the treatment, I did not do anything for 4-5 hours. Later I started drinking water in a glass sip by sip slowly. And limited conversations for 10 hours. I had to keep changing gauze a couple of times to make the bleeding stop though. But here I am with no pain, did not take any pain killers. Drinking lot of water. Ate mashed avocado and sweet potato. Been 22 hours now. Feeling better. Kept getting bruises on my tongue and went back to the hospital and I was told it was my bone and then the doctors did a correlation (filing) which was two days ago I still experience pain n swelling from that area please what do I do?
Healing takes time. If you are concerned and think your symptoms are not normal or different to how you would expect, you are going to need to speak to your doctors as they can advise.

I don't know if it's because I'm older but this tooth extraction is way worse then my first time getting a pulled. My throat hurts. My bones ache my jaw is achy and I have a metal taste in my mouth. Day 3
24 hours after the extraction, yes potentially. Rinsing can dislodge clots/impact healing in the first 24 hours. You're probably better off waiting until it's healed properly to use mouthwash though.
I got a tooth pulled. Was using cotton over pulled tooth. I missed a small round ball piece deep inside hole for awhile. Black and foul smelling. Like burnt decay. don't know exactly how long, less than 2 days. Now, I make sure to use big pieces to put in missing tooth area. Can I use hydrogen peroxide? mouth rinse? cotton ball soaked in colloidal silver?

2 weeks is a rough timeline for how long it takes to heal, but it can be longer.
