2004, my favorite year of NASCAR, the year Rockingham left, the first year of a new title sponsor, Dale Jr's best season, red hot young guns, a new points system. One of the last great seasons of NASCAR imo. 2005 and 2011 were good as well as 2014 but the sport has regressed since the first season of the elimination style of points has come into play.

Kyle Busch would be leading the points by a lot. Logano has more stage points and less laps led so Kyle would have the lead.

Pretty interesting. I feel with that playoff system that happened, Jimmie Johnson would've almost got 8 titles during that time frame throughout the course of it, not just with consistency as well

Ryan Newman was a blown engine and blown tire away from winning it all... hypothetically.

Ask Dale Earnhardt if running close together with restrictor plates was a good idea..

They have it in increments. Those help for about half of the races but for the others they arent
