I must say, this jacket is fantastic and some of their products are absolutely outstanding. However, a few items do fall short. For instance, this particular jacket has developed some small holes after just a few uses, which is disappointing considering they claim it is extremely durable. Furthermore, I've had issues with the stitching on the Strike pants. It's worth mentioning that despite their claims of high durability, Overwatch does not provide free repairs for items bought from eBay or for small tears. On the bright side, I do appreciate the fact that they were willing to repair my hybrid jacket after I fell while wearing it, as it is supposed to have the highest level of durability. Overall, the company has a great ethos and wonderful people, but they definitely need to focus on improving their outsourcing, logistics, and garment stitching techniques.
This is bery popular now since you've written this review. Even the Aegis doesn't cut it, compared to this, despite being £100 more. I use Engage with a Skirmish pack down just in case. 👍 Great review.
It’s an outstanding jacket! So glad I took the plunge. Don’t know how he wears a medium though. I’m 5’9, 72kg and I wear a large that fits amazingly. Not too tight nor too roomy. Just right, just saying. It’s really breathable in my experience, so light and packable… conclusion; GET ONE
Been after this jacket a while, how does it hold up in the rain? I'm also 5'9 and 72kg but was unsure with sizing. I have found one new with tags for £200 size L but wasn't sure if it would be too big.
Goretex is a meme. You can't have waterproof and breathable together without compromises. It's also terrible for the environment. Just get decent waterproofing on your outerwear and learn how to layer properly.
