  • Polygel Nails Using Dual forms on MYSELF | Rossi Kit Review
In this video I will try Rossi Polygel with dual forms on myself. I heard about this brand "Rossi" on Instagram and got few comments aboutn it on my channel. Now I finally got to try it. I decided to use "Nude" color as it looks like the best match for my skin tone.

THANK YOU for this. I did my own polygels last night and it took me 3.5 hours BUT it was my first time and I had a huge learning curve. I wish I had seen this video last night. So many good tips. Although my nails turned out pretty good for a first try, I now know what I could have done to make them a little more smooth.

It wont work, they'll pop right off.w artificial nails it's best to get them done in a salon.i used to work as a nail tech so this is just a sales gimmic.w gels you need at least 3 or 4 coats and then theres acrylic or sculptured nails. If you really want to try them I'd suggest having them pretty short, cause if they pop off they'll take a layer of your nails w.

I’ve bn using this method for almost a year and yes I think it’s the best method for ppl that can’t apply regular acrylics on themselves properly. Although yes, it does take a layer of your nails off when they come off and it’s super hard to soak off. Takes me an entire day sometimes to remove and reapply. But when you’re trying to avoid salon fees, it’s worth it. Also, after you start this method, your nails get so thin that you’re trapped in a never ending cycle of artificial nails cuz the breakage without them is unbearable

    • @ferchusssme
      @ferchusssme 4 года назад +19

@@43ShaDey that's because You over file the nail plate. And must apply a base coat before dual forms. That way You protect the firsts layers of your nail when they come off. Also they must stay on pretty much than a week, You need to review your nail preparation. Avoid liquids and oils on the nail bed and cuticule area before the mani.

I'm not a nail technician, so I have no clients besides myself. Lol But I do enjoy watching you work with dual forms. I saw another video where the nail tech had nothing but criticism for dual forms, but I believe she just wasn't using them properly.

    • @loveitloveit122

as a former nail tech I think this is an amazing idea, I did nails over 25 years , all I did was sculptured nails (tips never held a strong, in my opinion) a lot of techs did tips because sculpts are harder to do, long short this is the best of both worlds in my humble assessment, gotta try it👌

This color really suits you! I love it so much. Me myself also apply those poly gel and I take about 20 mins per nail cuz sometimes I take out the gel too tiny so it is thin at the edges and easy to crack so I have to add it up and then buff and things lol but now I am getting better. The moment I love the most is when I pop out the dual form hahaha so satisfied. (I do it for my own, dont have a nail shop)

@@karens.manager.2023 I liked it. However it doesn't come with the solution you need. I've seen other kits that come with it. Also I've had some break not sure what I did wrong but it's an easy fix. I love the colors that come with it. But solution is definitely needed with this kit. I've seen other kits I want to try. Overall it did the job. I had no alcohol so I used acetone to shape the gel.

I use to use my forms like u but I did not like having to fix the underside so i use paper forms and cut the excess length off then use my dual form. U will have to cure the underside after using the paper form so to avoid that stress use the clear ones instead of d regular paper ones that way the light passes right through it. I also put polygel in all my dual forms and mold their shapes and set them away from my light then I pop them on 1 by 1 and flash cure. I do a full cure once they r all done. I dont like having to prepare my dual form nail by nail.

Bhakti Patel with proper application, it will stay on u til you take it off. When removing the polygel tube with either say soak off or file off

a good thing to always remeber is before you APPLY it make sure those nail beds are super clean, as a former nail tech that's key, I always wiped each bed off with some alchohol before and made sure it was dry completely before applying, even is a great thing for natural nails before polish, polish lasts longer

Thank you for this awesome tutorial! I have one question, i often hear that the duoforms come off when your nails are hardening under the lamp. Do you have the same problem or do you know a solution for this? Love Saar

Hey to prevent dual forms from popping up you can use a nail clip to hold the dual form i recommend looking on amazon

Hi, I have polygel and I know this a dumb question but can you use polygel on a broken, split natural nail so it can grow out?

    Muy bien explicado,
    Gracias
    Saludos!

This is brilliant alot of nail salons charge too much I can't afford it, but I'm gunna buy a kit and practice this. We pay £30 at the salon for acrylics. We'll no more this is much better, thanks 👍🇬🇧
