I did girls trip for my bday in February And we stayed at Barcelos. (All inclusive) We loved it! Great food. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) I recommend it 😁

Honest review. Just got back from there. Nice resort, rooms are spacious. Pools are nice. Why there is no swim up bar in the adult pool is a puzzle. Bug bites! Stay off the sand. People who spent time on the beach were eaten alive. The food- luke warm and it was ok but nothing spectacular. Small resort so not much to go and do in the evenings. The shows were so so.
I’m so confused. I am watching the series “Acapulco” in Apple TV which is filmed at this resort. What happened to the stunning remodel? We stayed at this resort 7 years ago and so it was fun to see the remodel in the show- why does it appear that they changed it back?
I'm assuming they remodeled it for the show only, when the show was complete they had to remodel it back? I know that happens 9ften for the American audiences 🤷

Damn I like this resort to go June 30th to july5th but that pool bar has kids around it I don’t like that lol smh 🤦🏻♂️

This review is false! The food here is beyond disgusting. This place poisoned my family so severely my 6 year old had to get emergency IV fluid and is still suffering from constant nausea and diarrhea. All 5 of us got EColi from this place.
I’m sorry that happened to your family. I stayed there last year and the food was AWFUL!!!!! The customer service was bad too. I’d never stay there again.
