I really thought my sister and my son-in-law were posessed... until you explained autism. I never considered their brains were just wired differently, and they were having a hard time fitting in. I shared your link with my daughter, which she took to her husband's therapist and it changed everything for him in a beautiful way. They never considered autism until I suggested it. He tested and that was it! Their marriage is even much happier now. My sister is a different story. She doesn't know yet. Still working on how to approach her on that. But at least I have love and compassion for her now. Orion, you are such a treasure to the world. God bless you and thank you for your work and messages about autism. You are saving lives, families, and marriages all over the world. ❤
I have this on in the background as I try to get organized and ready for the day, I had to stop and let you know- you bring me so much comfort and peace when you speak... even hearing you sort of "flounder" as you *explain how you try to explain how explaining means nothing more than what you're trying to explain and you're explaining preemptively to contain potential fallout* (if my explanation makes sense🙊). Basically, it's so endearing and refreshing and validating to witness you being you, having the biggest heart and meaning the best, trying to navigate the land mines of other people's feelings and containing your own to whatever degree, because even with other autistic people it can be a "sensitive subject" to just breathe out loud the wrong way with some people. I hope my humor comes through in this statement I've made. Here's me retroactively explaining that I mean nothing more than support for dear, sweet Orion, and the rest of us that are on the struggle bus in every direction. 🤣😅🥰❤🔥
For the person who said multiple personality, that is what DID (dissociative identity disorder) used to be called. The name changed with the medical profession getting a better understanding of what it actually is. It gets a lot of stigma, I am sure that most people who are horrible about it don't understand/realise/care that the current belief is that it is cause by going through a lot of trauma at a very young age.

Because of your videos I have come to the conclusion that I might possibly be on the spectrum and going to seek out a diagnosis as to whether or not that I am autistic. Either way it has helped me understand autistics and why alot of people are the way they are. I believe it is all about communication. God Bless!

Multiple personality disorder was renamed dissociative identity disorder (DID) in 1994 to better reflect the condition. It is still the same thing. Call them by their preferred name.
My dreams are often so vivid. Occasionally I've been attacked by an intruder in my sleep and retaliate, only to find that I'm trying to attack my partner who is sleeping next to me. Not good.
I thrash about when I'm asleep but it wakes me up. So I don't sleep well. Very occasionally I wake up thinking, woah I slept right through! Only thing is, the duvet is in a perfect knot at the end of the bed and most of the pillows are flung around the room. 😂😂

And he is ridiculously smart like too smart for his own good. He's 7 and we have to hide the car keys so he doesn't steal the car. He can't get a license here until he's 16. The 3 places he wants to go most are: - Walmart for toys (he brings his piggy bank) - Canada (no idea why) - Africa - to live among cheetahs like a "wild Boy" - because a large birchwood farm on a lake with cayotes and a hunting / glamping cabin out back isn't enough for him) Oh and 1 more - to become a "wild boy" exhibit at the zoo we used to frequent in our previous state we lived in - he's quite homesick even after 2 years. Don't blame him. I am, too, but we can't go back. Our old neighborhood got too bad with the crime rise... it was CA. That was bad. Speaking of crime - you live in Adelaide?!?!? Whoa. Brave soul!!
As a climate activist, I see a lot of green hearts on chats. Presume they mean let's green our world. Comments on USA politics often have blue heart which I presume means vote democrats. Not sure what other ones mean
