That Salvation Army is different from the one that our town has or had. The SA here is quite like a Goodwill. Unfortunately, it will close down for several months and then open up again. The prices have been better than Goodwill. It is currently being used for something else. Hoping that it will be back again soon.

That rooster bowl from williams Sonoma! You should have grabbed it up. Expensive online.
Finding the antique dresser with the wheels still attached and not painted some hideous color is phenomenal. I would have to have it. Along with the long, low bureau. I would leave the back piece. That makes it different.
I used to watch your videos before these thrift videos. You always made me smile. These are okay but I really love to see your unique designs more. Whatever you do is fine, just wanted you to know my feelings.
I really like those bunnies. They'd be cute with some antiquing wax on them, to dim the brightness of the gold, and make them look vintage or antique. I could see them at Easter, holding a small speckled egg, where the candle would normally go. If you used 6 bunnies, you could stencil a letter on each speckled egg, that spelled out "SPRING", or even a child's name.

Correct about the back piece on the dresser. Would just be another messed up piece.

Definitely the swan was my favorite, but I also love the little bunnies. Our stores here don't look anything like that. Not even close to being that nice.

Hey. Those prices are fantastic compared to the Salvation Army in Foley, A!abama!! They would have put $300 on that vintage dresser and I'm not kidding! They think they're an Antique store! Love your finds. I need to go to MS.
I'm up here in N.W. Alabama and we have a tiny Salvation Army here in Florence. My daughter and I are planning on going to Mississippi to several towns soon on our way to Starkville to visit my family in OddFellows Cemetery.

That Salvation Army was so posh! Meaning the entrance/building. Here’s they just look like a basic store. However, inside S.A. Always sets ups the same and very well organized. They do have a showroom set up. And many of shelves are not crowded with stuff.

Our Salvation Army stores in SW Florida have half price sales on everything but furniture every Wednesday. If yours does as well, that would explain why the shelves were a bit bare. Furniture discounts vary. The rest of the week, there is a designated color that is half-price. Worth checking into. Not sure if the policy applies nationwide. :)

We used to have Salvation Army stores around here, but now just Goodwill stores. The variety would be fun to have. They really did have some great furniture at this store. I think my favorite today were the gold bunny candle holders.
The SA near me don't have much hard goods, mostly LOTS of adult clothes.

Salvation Army is one of my faves! Mine gives 25% off coupons. They're not huge, which means they're also not overwhelming. I loved that candle holder/ propagation station! 🌱🌿🍃
