Thanks! It's so great when choirs share their practice aids with others. This will be an excellent tool in helping my choir prepare for our December concert. One teensy bit of constructive criticism. It's helpful to have the other vocal parts included (at reduced volume) in the MIDI version-to make it easier to orient your line with other harmonies, and with overlapping cadences.
Right that's what I thought, and that was how I did it at first, but my choir can't take it, they get confused. I think those who are more advanced would appreciate it, particularly if they read, but for those simply memorizing a part I'm afraid this is what I need to do. I hear you, thanks for the critique.
Dear DisciplesChorus, How did you create this midi video, I love it! What equipment and software are needed to simply create this RUclips video? It is sooo helpful that I'd like to create training midi videos just like yours for all my fellow Community Chorus members. Thanks for creating this video and for sharing your "how to" information.
@@DisciplesChorus - Bottom line: THANKS FOR SHARING. This has been a big help in getting the piece on its feet, giving us more time to refine it (instead of having to spend ages fixing the notes).
@@michaelfuller5555 I SharpEye 2.0 for scanning the music into an xml file and then transfer the xml to finale 2014 (which is available for only $150 for educators or churches) And then make any fixes needed and set it to playback with finale's garritan instruments, clarinet for the treble voices and horn or bass clarinet for the bass voices. Then I use camstudio to record the playback in finale and the video is ready for upload. It saves the trouble of people losing their music, wherever they are they can open the video and see and hear the music. And the bonus is that I can see how many views the video is getting to tell if they are practicing and tell them at each practice which section is practicing the most! and the least ;)

@@kororachoirs Awesome to hear that what I made to help my choir can be a help to others, I'm so glad we can share resources.
