And the reason why people were understanding of him backing out is because Cole never acted like something he wasn’t. He never pretended to be someone he’s not. What I didn't understand were the fans of J Cole who _knew_ about the history between Kendrick and Drake and how far back their beef went and yet they *still* wanted Cole to join in. There are videos dated several years back, detailing the disdain between Kendrick and Drake. It's weird that some of Cole's fans would want their favorite rapper getting involved in that type of beef.
I really wished that after Cole apologized and stepped down, JID would would have gone after kendrick.
