Judith was a beautiful young woman with a fantastic voice plus she was a great entertainer in a great group! I don't totally understand her low self esteem at that time when she was young but it was real and a real issue for many young women then and now ! Judith gave us years of joy with her music and charm! Judith RIP!
The seekers are burned into my Psyche, and have forever touched my Soul. What a blessed group, of humanity. The voices and music together, are perfection. ✨🕊✨
The seekers in my eyes are the best groups in the world and judith Durham's voice is something I'll NEVER get tired of , So a big thank you to judith Bruce Keith and Athol the seekers, wishing you all the best, lots of love EVE XXXX
How many millions of men have fallen in love with Judith. She has an etheral, wholesome, wonderful character. You just want to put your arms around her and protect her. She has been my only consistent love since I was in college in 1965... followed by a trip to Vietnam, where I served near some Aussie soldiers.
This interview puts a tear in this Canadian's eye. The Seekers and Molly. Two generations of the greatest ambassadors for Australian music ever, and the entire reason why I spent 3 years living in your wonderful, beautiful country. I never knew this interview even existed, and to watch it now floods back so many fond memories. Both such national treasures, who gave the world not only Australian music,, but the showed the stunning country and culture as well. I had the incredible good fortune to meet all five of them. Such perfect examples on what the world loves about Australia. And on top of that, one of the best, if not the best Seekers interview ever. From halfway across the world, but culturally so close, a hello from this Canadian.
The Seekers as a group, and Judith, in every respect touch every part of my being. Tears, joy, love, happiness with every time I watch and listen. Just Wonderful. And the one thing I always notice is the timing of all the comments. It's so great to know that even up to today (8/28/20) all the love shared throughout the years, decades. And confident it will last beyond my lifetime. God Bless the Seekers, God Bless Judith, and God Bless You all!
I left the UK in 1968 for career down under in Tasmania, the Seekers helped me to make the decision in a sort of way, they made Australia sound like a good place to live. Never regretted the move, achieved far more than I ever would in the UK- a wonderful life Thank you Seekers. I played guitar in a skiffle group back in the 50’s during my time with the RAF in Germany- so the Seekers were playing music I was familiar with. 👍🎼😁🇬🇧🇦🇺🔭
This is my first time to hear this song "FutureWay" . I love the way they include dreams down future road because it is so honouring of the original inhabitants of Australia' "Dreamtime".
Not pretty enough? I'd have given anything to have looks like Judith. What a tremendous group and so sad for Judith's passing. The Seekers and Peter, Paul & Mary two of my favourite groups. RIP, Judith Durham RIP, Mary Travers ....two wonderful talented singers.
Judith was one of the most gorgeous ladies I've ever seen.... And with the voice of an angel to boot.... Stunning. I don't think I'm the only bloke to think so, either!!
I understand that in her younger days, Judith always had concerns about her physical appearance. Even as a young boy (I was only 10 years old when they first hit the U.K. charts)I was always struck by how lovely she looked. Her voice is unmatched and probably never will be. RIP Judith.

I've listened to The Seekers since I was small. My parents had the LPS. Love there voices+harmony. That are still brilliant for what they do. Would have loved to have seen them in concert. Love the song Calling me home. Just wonderful.Keep it going strong.
I was born in the sixties, and grew hearing the Seekers, you grow and trends change, but it is beautiful delight to touch base of simpler times. I am proud of being Australian and the Seekers are a fantastic example of greatness. Thanks for the memories.
I recently clicked on a post that was a RUclips recording of “There Will Never Be Another You” it brought on a good cry that needed to be had, I just wasn’t expecting it to happen quite like it did. My husband passed away a year ago, we were together for 48 years, there will never be another that could replace him. The Seekers and their music were part of our lives along with others like the Beatles, the Everly Brothers, Simon and Garfunkel and so many others. We had the best music ever in my opinion. RIP young lady.
Wow what a great album " out of Australia come the seekers" olivia Newton John " Gibb brother's " ,Kevin Johnson so many great and talented artists your contributions can't be measured " thank you all for the joy of your music " Brian Margolis falls church Va "
I wish I could have 1/10th of Judith's positive attitude and kindness. She is a person that anyone would like to be around. Such a beautiful voice. Better than anyone I can remember, including Joan Baez, Judy Collins, etc.
Agreed! The other two, Joan Baez and Judy Collins, are great folk singers but Judith had a very pure, pitch perfect, dynamic and unique voice which blended perfectly with the other 3 talented male Seekers! Judith was mostly the lead singer for the Seekers. Judith was an understated super star!
not only a good promo interview but what a great historical reference. I've been fascinated by the story of JD and the Seekers and of course their music, never heard much about them growing up here in the US aside from Georgy Girl, they've become my favorite NEW band
Oh yes. And howveey gracious she is.... I am in mourning for this gutsy path creator .Maker of that very Future Road of which this gem sparkles. No I'm not on any magic mushrooms ...I am in deep mourning and sleep deprivation soaking up wonderful videos trying to memorize the song words listening on repeat falling asleep and also waking up rejoicing that The Spirit of Hope Spirit of sensitivity is there tbc
Integrity...that's one of the qualities that took the Seekers out of the pure pop world. And I think Judith at that stage was the spirit of what we were doing in the 60ies.
Hope . Community as opposed to crass individualism . Thank goodness they didn't get to The US of America at that early stage of their careers. Could have been corrosive.Though clearly very disappointing to we their fans and the group itself.
I'm not a big fan of Ray Martin, but he hit the nail on the head when he suggested that this imminent reunion tour could be bigger than expected. Quite an enjoyable interview. Missing Judith - RIP.
Having now heard the songs from their album "Future Road" I'm pretty sure that I will rush out and buy it. Judith and the guys are so excellent in all the songs they do as always.

I'm a great fan of the Seekers and, of course, they are passing into history now, so it is a bit sad as you say. However, there are some great singers around and I've been mesmerised by the voice of Sia for this last year, perhaps you've heard of her? Especially, for me anyway, her 'Angel by the Wing', 'My Love' and 'Free Me'. She has an amazing catalogue (she writes her own songs) and the lyrics are usually heartfelt and empowering, even though you often have to look up the lyrics as she has an unusual style of singing. I'm just mentioning this as life does go on, even after the Seekers and it's worth exploring others. PS have enjoyed reading your comments on the Seekers
Osvaldo, I'm sad too. Still beautiful in the nineties and on into this century. But she can't go on forever, and even forever isn't long enough to be watching and listening to her.
The song, "The Shores of Avalon" is one I haven't heard before. It is so beautiful. Have to get that album. Not so easy to find some of their albums where I live in USA in record stores. Don't like to buy online.
Have to respectfully disagree with Dave Cochrane. I think the Future Road album is fabulous. No, it's not folk music, but beautiful music, and meaningful lyrics , at least to me! Tim in Texas
So sad that Judith had such low self esteem of herself at the time, number 1 I thought she was beautiful, cute and just seemed like a really real kool lady. Blessings
I'm really not enjoying the stuff from this album; they lyrics are just collections of clichés, nothing like the old quality from Springfield. They sound great, but they need better, deeper songs to satisfy the folk crowd.
A Wonderful Legend has gone to be with Jesus forever
I’ll really miss Judith. Thank you for all you have given us.

What a wonderful showcase of talent. Judith and the Seekers are sublime.
The seekers playing walk don't run ( tune made famous by The Ventures) blew my mind.
I dearly love The Seekers.
I can't believe Judith though she was not pretty enough or had weight issues. She was gorgeous in and out. ❤️

Anyone else notice how in so many interview clips throughout the years, Athol cozies up to Judith a lot? Can't say I blame him!
Yeah. I've always wondered about that. Makes me very jealous.
Yes it really struck me this time

Don’t forget “Far Shore”. So poignant, especially at news of her having left us.
I wish their album Future Road was available in the U.S. I would by it in a heatbeat. I can get enough of the Seekers.
Amazon sells it in the US as an import.
It turns up on eBay every now and then, in case you're still searching. Or seeking!

There is something in them that makes me sad because life does not last forever. There should always be a Judith Durham, and this is not possible.

I'm really not enjoying the stuff from this album; they lyrics are just collections of clichés, nothing like the old quality from Springfield. They sound great, but they need better, deeper songs to satisfy the folk crowd.
Dave Cochrane I know what you mean. Springfield & Woodley's compositions suited The Seeker's style & Judith Durham's sublime voice.
