Holy Coyote! Our country is under a severe nerve-wracking hysteria attack. Precarious employment leading to the heartless exploitation of our vulnerable youngsters, bleak future for the highs chool graduates, unaffordable college or trade education, cell phones causing family disconnect, little money to cover familiy basic needs, and the ever present drugs on our streets, could be one of the many detonating factors leading to this regretful tragedies. The logical thinking of children and youngsters are not at the same level of adults, and cannot reason beyond the walls of his world. FSLN
To which I saw bullshit! I grew up on a farm where adults and children big and small worked from dawn to dust. After morning chores we walked 1 mile to school, walked home at 3 PM and worked until dark, many times falling asleep before finishing home work. After high school went to 4 year college working part-time to pay fees, tuition, and living expenses. My jobs included, mowing lawn, working on the assembly line in a flooring board sawmill, working night shift in a paint factory making 4 tanks of traffic paint without current day automation. I graduated and went on to graduate school earning a doctorate and getting a faculty position in one of the most prestigious medical colleges in the country. Today's children do not have to work for anything and are spoiled brats who blame their parents for their failures.
A 15 yr old receiving counsel from who...waved his right to appear in court???? What is the huge secret; as there are a ton surrounding this case...who are the authorities really trying to protect or are we trying to cover something bigger up? All the secrets sure do make people wonder about a good many possibilities, none of which are good ones. I hope we don't all smell a skunk!🤔

You are seriously reaching. There are many families who are thriving and no prayers needed. Religion is more often the reason kids go off the deep end and do something like this. Some because they say that God or the Devil told them to do it. Some because their parents’ zealotry devolved into abuse and they used “God” as a punishment for their “sins”. How do you know that it wasn’t forced prayer that made this kid go off the deep end? Did God tell you?
As a child of God, I believe that there is a correlation between the steep moral decline we see and society’s attempt to erase the awareness of and presence of God. Removing school prayer is an example of that attempt.
This kid was homeschooled. What exactly does taking prayer out of schools have to do with this? By all reporting this was a devout Christian home (so say several of neighbors). They could do all the praying they wanted to do.
