Same, I would rather pick my own (and I may not even want one, I don't have a TV at home, but when traveling I may want to check out the weather or see what local channels are around that may be bearable) The TV's in these RV's are pretty bottom of the barrel anyways... Nothing special about them either, i think of it like the included mattress... It's there as filler.
There's no way any manufacturer would not provide wiring at the entertainment center. At 5:44 look at lower left area above the shelf. There is a 120 volt receptacle and coaxial hook ups for cable and satellite TV.
And to think that Josh gave up Caffeine Having the 3660SUITE, which is this with a bunk, not having the TV included gave me more choices as to what I can put in without having "spare" tv's laying around. I did notice the tv hooker thingy is not included on this one, there were 3 of them in mine, but only one TV side piece. I would much rather have the bumper cargo rack in the back, or a reinforced bumper that can support 3K towing for a light weight trailer or handle a generator. There are a few places for improvements in this series, but overall its a decent design, and is really a good bang for the buck.
OH, forgot to mention, that slide with the Reefer is the exact same slide in the 3660, which should answer the question of why not make it bigger. In fact everything in the rear is the same between the two other than the sink island and wall cabinets since the bunk comes into that space.
@@JoshtheRVNerd My pleasure buddy And we Thank you😊😊👍👍👍👍👍 when I'm able to afford a Travel Trailer, I'd like Josh and Chase to do short camping trip or overnight and a caffenated beverage next morning with me😊😊
No factory TV please. I'd need to make my own choice. I want to work from the road and I have specific needs for a TV/Monitor...I'm just going to pull the factory and replace it. (And I LOVE that bedroom desk). I need to figure out some place local that has one to do a walk through, but this is now in the lead. It's just nudged out the 2887MB from Rockwood.
Love the desk up in the bedroom. I made the mistake of watching the Grand Design 5th wheel video before this one cause all thru this video I was like "it's OK I guess" But like you said this one is lighter and less $$ which is always a good thing.
Haha yeah Arctic isn’t trying to be THE MOST AMAZING RV EVER or anything But their weight/price is a strong combo and leaves you able to decorate and apply a few small upgrades as you please
Hello, pre-wired in the living room, bedroom yes, Tv's included, no. As with the TV people buy for their homes, what they choose, if any for the rv should be the same, their choosing not someone else's. Plus, most people finance these, and in essence, financing a TV for 15-20yrs is crazy, yet that is what's happening. Included cargo rack? Idk, again, perhaps 50% of buyers would use one, 50% no...so I would say optional cargo rack, yes. Everything added on to something just increases its cost. And I am betting, if you checked with factory reps, you would find that TV and cargo rack are at a minimum 20% or more costly than what I can find the TV I actually want on sale. Or, in the case of many, when people go on vacation, they just take their TV from home with them. Thank You Sir and as always, very informative for those interested in this type and caliber rv.
Pick my own tv. But have manufacturer include an HDMI cables pre-ran. Gimme the rack! Buuuut! If I had a magic wand I would run the HDMI cable to the theatre seat so I could hook up a laptop and use the tv as a giant monitor.
Not a bad unit, Josh! While I'm not big on the decor, it certainly offers a great deal of flexibility for anyone who owns one. I like the idea of the optional TV. In most cases, it's cheaper to purchase a TV elsewhere; and you can get exactly what you want. I think that as long as the RV has the cabling, or conduit that will allow someone to easily hook up the TV, that's fine. As for the cargo rack: That too, should be optional. Some people may never have a need for one, while others would consider it essential. It's not something that's too difficult to install in the factory; and it can be added afterwards, if a buyer can't wait for a new unit to be built. Great idea to repurpose that upper section in the pantry. I can see fresh towels stored in there. Bonus marks for the King bed AND keeping the bedroom reasonably spacious.
If that’s all they offer for a TV (720p), then definitely agree I’d rather get my own TV (ideally working with Bish’s to have it all installed in advance).
Hi John, I very much like the videos you do on these RV’s. I figured I’d ask you, Im looking for a 5th wheel that has a large front bedroom and rectangular shower as I am 6’2” and need room!! I HAVE to have an outside kitchen WITH a sink, microwave, fridge/freezer, a storage cabinet. I used to own a Greystone 33CK that I LOVED!!!! PLEASE steer me in the right direction!! It seems I cant find all of these things in an outdoor kitchen!! I currently own a 2021 Rockwood 5th 2282S that I love but no outside sink.🥲🥲
Hmm... OUTSIDE fridge/freezer is pretty darn rare. I'm not really thinking of anyone that does that currently actually So I have an idea... try this one ruclips.net/video/O_OGBKDh6xA/видео.html It's front living, but basically does what you're seeking and a simple portable 12v fridge/freezer chest could get you the rest of the way there.
What's a new F350 running right now? $100k? I really don't want to pull something this long with a 3/4 ton. I saw someone yesterday pulling a big 5th wheel and the truck was sagging badly. That's not a good situation. This is a nice unit at a fair price. I understand why they go "cheap" in some areas(like the plastic shower head). That's can be changed out quite easily for $20. No bedside tables is a bummer. I'm good with optional TVs. A TV from Walmart is $300. A cargo rack is always a good thing. No awning over the outdoor kitchen? Save money where you can and let the customer make little changes as desired. Those icemakers are $99 at Walmart. We have 2 of them. A 50 watt solar panel? Seems to be a gesture because it will take 2 days of sun to charge a battery. Good video on a good unit. Luxury? Not really, but I'll go to Paris if I want luxury travel.
Hey uncle brother cousin Josh. No TV for us we transfered them from our Zinger into our new 3660 Suite. Your video sold the wife over the Tandara MB we were going to buy. Showed the basement storage to my mother-in-law and said this is your room. Keep the videos coming.
Big for a half ton I think. Pricing right here for you! For pricing I can only reference what we have on our site and we might actually be sold out of these.. I may have to ask you to drop a note at www.bishs.com/contact/ if curious there. Sorry about that
This is nice 😁 I would prefer to have a factory TV provided, so you're all set up but later on you could switch it out, also I'd want to see if I could remove the left side table in the living area for a bigger sofabed, but otherwise zero complaints, you could have comfortable extended living in that thing 👏🏻👏🏻
I've been watching your videos consistently for about 6 months, love them! Anyway, things pop in my brain at the weirdest time and after watching the same issue in many videos, I am wondering.....if an RV does not have easy access to the indoor fridge in travel mode, and you know you're going to travel, why not have some beverages and cold food in the outside camp kitchen fridge? Granted,it doesn't solve the issue for those without the outside camp kitchen. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Camp kitchen fridges rarely operate in transit since they’re almost always 110 instead of 12v. Some rvs with inverters solve that though It’s still an icebox in transit though I got a 12v fridge I can plug in and use in our vehicle while traveling
Optional TVs are mind boggling, as they are standard on 90% of all RVs at every level, and 99% of the standard TVs are fine for most camping needs, and no ladder is very disappointing☹️
@@jimcurry5458 shouldn’t have to, but then again, if people keep buying RVs that are cheaply made with crappy entry level features and void of necessary standard safety features nothing will change👍
