Thanks for these videos! They’re super helpful in helping me make a decision on buying on or not. I’d like to see the beacon and how it works on day!

      Hey, thank you! You're welcome.
I do not own the beacon, and in my view, it should not be necessary, that is why you are paying way more than other options available in the market. That is just my opinion

We’ve told you before, but I’ll try again. The Hover currently has NO FORWARD OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE. It will never “see” things like poles and attempt to avoid them. Try to release yourself from your preconceived notions on this.
A suggestion for future runs would be to increase the height setting for your ski or follow modes. Also, to better recognize your face hold the Hover at eye level (higher than you were in these attempts).

    Can you repair it?

I sure can, is not a big deal, plus they already have a repair kit for the X1, so I guess in a few months they will have a repair kit for the X1 Pro/Max
      cheers

    1. 1:14 you said you would try in a different darker color outfit, but you didn't.
    2. 2:18 why would you still use follow, if you said you updated and have ski mode? What is the point?
    3. 2:50 constantly turning it OFF and ON again, because you have no patience again shows that you don't know how to use this device and didn't even take 5 minutes to check the tutorials. If you have checked the tutorial you should know that OT takes on average between 30 seconds and 3 minutes, but first time it can take even more if it's turned on for the first time at a new location.
    4. 3:52 you are clearly not holding it at eye level. And looks like you also press on the gimbal with your jacket. Again, please check the tutorials at least once to understand how this device operates.
    5. 7:18 it's clear again that you are not holding the drone at eye level, you are holding it at chest level.
    6. 8:40 "I calibrated the gimbal". Excuse me? There is no such thing. There is only IMU calibration for the drone. Again, you are spreading misinformation about the device, because you did not take 5 minutes to properly go through some basic tutorials.
    7. 13:50 Many people already commented on your previous video that this drone does NOT HAVE ANY OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE. And it's also clearly stated on their website and their user manual, but you still didn't read those. And you are now again confusing people with this information. The drone crashed into the poles because you flew it in the middle setting and not in the highest setting. And let me tell you one more time if it's still not clear to you, the Hover Air X1 P/PM DOES NOT HAVE ANY OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE SENSORS, you need to make sure the drone will not crash into any obstacle.
    8. Again, you are flying at eye level, and not on the high setting, this is dangerous in these scenarios, as you can hit another person, and if they are like you without a helmet, you can severely injure somebody. This is promoting a very irresponsible use of this device.
    9. And you keep doing that weird hand extension hoping by miracle that it will just fly back to you. That again is not true, but you wouldn't know, because you did not check the basic tutorials.
    Cheers!

      Hola Peter,
1-I sure did not, since the follow did not worked every time I tried, and I wanted to have a baseline comparation with the previous experience, plus frustration, I did not, as you correctly point out and as a title in the video says I did not.
2- The point was to make an apples to apples comparation with the previous experience, since then I did not had the ski mode, I wanted to try the same mode as before, with no success, hence I switched to ski mode and did not changed my clothes.
On the other comments you point out, it reads about right, I need to see a few more tutorials and play with it, also adjust to fly in high settings when other humans are present, regarding spreading misinformation, it is your take, mine is that I am being fully transparent on what im doing, also never claimed to be an expert, since video one of the X1 I made, I CLEARLY STATE IT IS MY FIRST DRONE, so I have never presented my self as a drone guru or an avid pilot, au contraire, I clearly present my self as a NEWBIE, just sharing my experience, so any one watching can relate if they are new to owning a drone and maybe thinking to get an X1 Pro, and maybe avoid my mistakes.
I do appreciate your detailed post, we might not agree in all of it, but I take it as you trying to help me pointing at my mistakes, so is all good sir, happy holidays.
      Cheers

Hey hola, yes you are right, but in the previous time, It had no problem while using the same outfit/mask, I guess it has to do with the low light.
      Cheers
