Nice and smiple, super compact, and most important: Consumer friendly. I can get away with running these supplies open to the air because I'm careful not to short anything out, but most people want a more professional looking package like this with straightforward screw terminals. Even at 2x the size of the supply, they're still SO compact for something capable of 100amps of output.
Looks like you did an awesome job on these. I've been using the hp supplys now for about 6 months. I love them. Hope i never have to go back to the old switchers. Plenty of power. Stable. Quiet and noiseless.
Question for you. Is it possible to add a 1/4 mic jack to it? That way you could also have the option of a remote power switch. I like the setup but I hate a cluttered work space.
I have a couple HP server supplies kicking around. I was looking for someone to take them off my hands and build me a supply with them or maybe take them in trade. They need a resistor removed and jumped and a pot turned up to convert them but I wasn't comfortable removing the surface mount myself. Maybe we could talk?
Hey Matt Chad here thats a great looking compact supply would you sell just the case, I have one HP module ready to rock and roll just need a cabinet for it, if you would sell one I would by it when you complete that 200 amp supply that you are building for me thanks for all you do keep these videos coming my friend P.S. that Ranger 99N1 that you hooked me up with is still Rocking Bro thanks again.
Does this power supply create an RF hash on the HF, shortwave bands? in other words can I use this type of supply to power an HF rig for instance Icom, Kenwood, or Yaesu. Does it sound like a linear power supply. Thank you :)
i used these too!! omg!! this awesome! i will be getting one from you soon!!!!!! wow!!!! the installed digital display is soo key to it all!!!

Yea I don't see why not..it's good to be neat, I get it
Sweet unit, Matt. I want one...but I do not need one. 😕 Nothing I have requires that amount of amperage. Another toy, another day.
