Young@Heart - A Message to You, Rudy

Rest in peace Glenda Philips (October 15, 1930 - October 12, 2022).
Glenda was a beloved Young@Heart member who was with the group since 2007. Right from the beginning Glenda used her skills as a piano player on a three week tour of France in 2007 with the show “Road to Nowhere” staged by No Theater. The woman who had done this on previous tours was not able to make this tour - but Glenda saved the day when she stepped in at the last minute, and she did a wonderful job.
She also did a great job on the song “A Message to You, Rudy", written by Jamaican-British rock steady artist Dandy Livingstone and popularized by The Specials. Filmed at our 30th anniversary concert in 2012, here Glenda sings alongside Helen Boston and Shirley Stevens. She will be missed by all of us.
