    How can you be so enthusiastic over a pry bar made of soft copper? Was the iron age not an improvement over the bronze age? To pay 30$ for such an impractical tool makes me say, too much money not enough sense... Copper scales on a sak, ok that works.

    A brass swiss army knife would be amazing, however I rarely use such knives on a day to day basis, and though I use a box cutter frequently at work paying for a TPT would be spendy and if I consider how thick my gloves are a bit unwieldy for more practical use. I love these EDC videos but if I can't justify spending cash to solve a problem then things that don't but are super neat will have to wait until some Christmas in the unknown future.

    You don't use the can opener, Taylor?! That's the one tool I have genuinely worn out on several SAKs... it's an excellent screwdriver, scraper, and the can edge is an excellent box cutter for slicing tape or scoring leather. The customs are nice, but I don't even have a proper ALOX yet... really hoping to get the Pioneer X to replace carrying my Tinker and Super Tinker that I go back and forth on. The scissors are SUPERB on Victorinox tools, and for me they are nearly impossible to give up for more than a couple days.
    I like copper, but the titanium is what I'm walking away with.

      @@mackjones7688 Certainly. There's gold in the very phone I'm using right now to reply to u. I know that cause I'm studying computer science and I program chips with arduino and stuff
      I actually hate how gold is wasted with ornamental purposes and status symbol, such a petty and worthless use, when it's so useful for conductivity of electrical currents
      However a pry bar is a tool that doesn't make use of any of the useful properties you mentioned. A pry bar made from a soft metal or a weak/soft alloy of steel will bend, so more brittle but strong metals are better (not so brittle that they will break naturally, like some porous alloys of iron)

    Hey Brass people.
    I love the weight and look of brass and copper but I HATE the smell of metal you get of coins and metal zippers.
    Anyway round this?

    So for the same price as a Victorinox Farmer you can get a bottle opener. OK.

    COPPER! gotta disagree with you... need the can opener, the caplifter is superfluous... everything has one... also hate the main blade... but i digress...custom sak is in my future!

      I've actually made a few without the main blade or the awl. It's not very common but in all honestly, that little electrician blade is very capable of handing large tasks. Scissors on one layer and the can opener and eblade on the other is all you need. Thin 2-layer design that's very capable.

      875fps how much would a copper sak specific to the one you just described cost?? I think I’m gonna have to get one of these!

    • @875fps
      @875fps 5 лет назад +1

      @@erinjoy8338 Thanks for the interest! They start at $175 and we can either go with an Electrician and add $10 for scissors, or start with a Pioneer X and add the eblade for $10, and then remove the blade layer. I'll actually give you $10 for the blade layer since I can reuse it (unlike the can opener which I can't really reuse). If you don't want your tools stonewashed it will stay $175, or add $30 for stonewashing. Then there are a few other addons like brass liners (+$10) or a pocket clip (+$10).
