Two Tales of Floristic Change in Southern New England: Orchids and Northern Species - Robert Bertin

The flora of a region changes over time in response to land use changes, climate change, species introductions, and other factors. This talk will address two themes related to floristic change in southern New England: trends in frequencies of local orchids and the possibility that man-made climate change is influencing the distributions of our native plant species.
