If this is a Japanese movie, not a Korean movie, is the Marvel movie a Russian movie?

Calling a South Korean movie a Japanese movie is like calling a American Hollywood movie a Russian movie.

Excuse me, this is not a Japanese War Movie. This is Korean war movie based on the Korea-Japan War or Imjin War of 1592-1598. I think you should know and correct that. Good video nonetheless. Another thing that should be noted is that Yi Sun-shin was so feared and respected by the Japanese that they often mentioned him in their historical annals during that time and they also feared the might of the Joseon navy as it was the most advanced and powerful navy in East Asia during that time. The Japanese also made Yi Sun-shin a war god back in Japan. In Korea, Yi Sun-shin was also well respected that he had numerous titles and awards given to him even after his death. He was also designated as an ancestral deity and as a war god in Korea.

BTW, the battles are exaggerated in a way that would make sense because in one major battle, the Japanese lost atleast 50k men while Yi only have 1 casualty after accidentally crushing his own finger. Because the turtle ships are designed to counter boarding tactics while the japanese rely on the said tactics in naval combat

In the history of mankind, Japan has surpassed Korea only in the past 200 years or so, when it worked hard for enlightenment and industrialization. For thousands of years, Korea has been the most developed country in East Asia.

I think it speaks volumes that the harshest critic of Admiral Yi was Admiral Yi himself.

Basically, Korea's main battleships at the time (Panokseon) were made of much stronger wood than Japanese basic battleships. Korean battleships were mainly made of hard wood, such as pine and oak, and were much harder than Japanese battleships made of Japanese cedar, so they could withstand the impact of cannon fire.

This movie depicts the Japanese Invasion of Chosun (old Korea) in 1592 and illustrates one of Admiral Yi's remarkable victories in 1592-1598. It is NOT a Japanese movie. It is a movie produced by a Korean film maker and a Korean director, Hanmin Kim.

It is actually incredible to report that this battle really did happen. Admiral Yi Sun Shin with just 12 or 13 ships defeated a Japanese fleet of at least 133 ships. Yi's battle report claims that he sunk 31 ships with no ship lost on his side. (His estimate probably underestimates Japanese losses.) Admiral Yi did in fact use the unusual behavior of the currents in the strait where the battle was fought to his advantage to score one of the most extraordinary naval victories ever.

You should have done your due diligence before you made this reaction. This is not a Japanese movie. It is a Korean movie. You definitely need to show some respect to the copyright holders and represent them correctly. Please correct your error and re-upload. The error makes you look quite amateur, sloppy and inconsiderate. Not to mention it makes you look like you are too lazy to correct your mistake and only care about views and ad revenue. How would you feel if someone reviewed iconic movies like Star wars, Rocky, Star trek, Matrix, John Wick, Top Gun, Mission Impossible, and called it a Russian or Chinese movie? Correct your error and do the right thing. All you need to correct is the intro. That is a easy fix.

Hey, Timothee I just finished watching your (and Cody's) reaction to the Lego Movie, thank God you didn't spoil it for him. Also, if you stayed for the credits (the moving parts) you could've known other actors in the film... I'm sorry to say I only pledged just for this reaction. But that's just the first time around. Next time you watch the film (and tell Cody this as well), don't just pay attention to the main focus of a scene, also pay attention to the background. Here's an example, when they all crash into the train, the pig splatters into sausages. Another hard to notice detail is when they're about to be pulled on Metalbeard's ship, if you pause it at the right moment, Vitruvius is drinking from the double decker couch cup holder. There's a lot. And if that's not enough, there's also an extended version of Emmet's Speech to President Business found only in the junior novel, and Lucy's speech to the citizens (not sure if you want to take a look at that). To reiterate, I only pledged just for this reaction. I also enjoyed your Free Guy reaction, it was a very good film (the good f***ING morning Goldy had me rolling). So in truth, I pledged twice ($20). Like I said, I recommend next time you watch The Lego Movie, pay attention to small out of focus details. Thank you for a (very late/very early) Thanksgiving/Christmas gift, respectfully. This movie is still one that I can watch without the jokes getting old. Thank you and Happy Late Thanksgiving!
