RDLC Report with parameters (C# Code)

Thanks for this. I struggled for 2 days trying to generate a pdf from an rdl in a console app. I then spent an hour with your video and was then able to convert your web form to the console app that I was trying to build. Only thing that tripped me after that was specifying that the rdlc should be content and not embedded as I was still getting the error where it cannot find the report specification. Music was actually got me in the work groove too. Thanks.

Is there any way to only pass the params from application code and the report makes the fill work, similar to Crystal Reports? Most of the tutorial I saw always the data is retrieved from application code, you sent the params and the report and it just used them to show the formula labels FROM/TO, and that is kind of coupled approach I think, I'm newbie with this sort of reports and I have a bunch of doubts.
