If you are here in 2090, I was here in 2023.💜
BURNA BOY was a young artist who came from GRASS to GRACE. He was among the best musicians of his generation & he was a living LEGEND.
In 2023, Nigerian music was doing absolutely well, getting even better everyday and it was loved worldwide. We Nigerians we're proud of this success story.
Hope the world is a better place in 2090? Stay safe and be a nice human. 🇳🇬💜💜💜
That's a beautiful message ❤
2022. there were thousands of languages in the world at the time and this man chose to speak the fact. I WAS THERE.

For people who are finding it difficult to grasp what Burna is saying in this song please allow me to explain it in the best way I possibly can. ' Common Person' talks about life and the ups and downs that come with it. It talks about love and unity and always being your brother's keeper. Whether we're rich or poor, high or low we all come from the same place and we should always treat each other with respect. I feel like this song is preaching a message that extends deeper than the words on the surface. It reminds us that love is the greatest force in the world and no matter where you've been or where you come from we're always one. That is why I love Burna so much. His songs always carry the greatest relatability. Whatever you're going through in life there's always a Burna song for you. If you're happy, sad or whatever it is there's always a Burna song for you. No other artist touches me as much as Burna does. He goes into my very soul. That is what music does💯💯❤️❤️

As a black man from Brazil, Burna's music touches my heart and soul, I feel myself connected with my nigerians brothers in the other side of the Ocean. It's more than a song, it's about roots, belonging, pride, Negritude (blackness), Panafricanism. "The message from Burna I believe would be, the every black person should please remember that : you're africans before you become anything else."
Wow, this made my day Lucas, you are a legend in the making.
Thank you Nigerians for pouring so much happiness to the world❤
Fans of BURNA BOY inside and outside Nigeria gather here let’s appreciate our Living LEGEND & our AFRICA GAINT ( ODOGWU ) TALENTS 🦍💜🇳🇬

@CtrlAltDelicious69 Director K is a Nigerian
They are doing well tbh
@CtrlAltDelicious69 they are mostly Nigerians, just for one or two. TG OMORI is the one they use the most. And he is very Nigerian. Please help point out the ones that aren't Nigerian
@CtrlAltDelicious69 name those Nigerian video directors they use the most that is not Nigeria. Clarence Peters, TG OMORI and sesan are used the most and they are all full Nigerian music video producers

Merci nigeria de représenter l'Afrique dans les musiques I am from comoros 🇰🇲 🇳🇬
Thank you
I first heard this song when I was 20 year old kid in prison in 2009. I Went in at 17. Got my GED, did a Computing course and got trusty status. Me and 7 other inmates worked at the Kampala Rd Food Bank after completing the Computing course. I fought tears hearing this song on the bus ride at 5am on the way to work and this song still makes me tear up today.
face-pink-tears😹
Is the song that old?
Man brang his African roots to the mainstream, big up.
Somebody once said, " When you are happy, you enjoy the melody, when you are sad, you understand the lyrics."
This is so deep! 💯
Deep
the first instance of hearing the song It made me happy. the third time I heard it made me sad. realising that the common Nigerian man is suffering and smiling at the same time. excellent music!
Powerful
Literally experiencing both.
If you wonder why Nigerians always find a way to soldier on with their lives each day despite the hardship and chaos, listen to this song and it'll explain it to you. No matter how bad it is, Nigerians never want to stop being happy and enjoying their lives, cuz our happiness is still our own.
Thank u my brother u just said it right there
No better words than this ❤️
You’re right! And I can also say Africans I’m general ❤
I have Nigerian co workers and they are the most happy and hard working men I’ve ever met in my life, I have great respect for them. Amazing people
Burna Boy is a Blessing to Mama Africa
The common is always underrated, no one appreciates the uncommon things by just looking at it cos it doesn't seem common 👁️
My boyfriend left me because of the way am madly in love with burna boys music 😢am single again.

But I still own my happiness
Everybody has a role to play( in life),
Doesn't mean that your role is more important, than mine.

when I was a 7 year old girl (from The Netherlands) I started developing a passion for African percussion, I learned to play the djembe for 7 years straight. A lot of people had no idea or didn’t understand why I wanted to learn about African music but look where we are now, i’m so grateful that African music is taking over the world right now because it is absolutely amazing. Special love to Burna Boy!
So let's put your passion into making money, who knows, you could be the next big thing in the Netherlands who is an Afrobeat artist that also play the djembe.
Thanks
