Counter strafing is definitely the play on mouse and keys! Mirror strafing helps a lot with aim assist. As someone who plays both, if you mirror strafe on mnk, you’ll lose a bunch of fights to rollers just because you don’t have AA. Mirror strafing can break aa though, especially if you combine it with other movement techs, so it’s the best when fighting roller!
The guy you are mirroring are mirroring you as well When I do this sometimes I can hit 200 with half a mag of CAR but still loses to a 1v1 because your opponent did the same thing.
Try left right strafing while tracking without shooting, and wait for your opponent to get into a position you're sure you can hit them in right before firing to ensure that they don't hit you, and you focus better on hitting them
Bruh it works in reverse too my man. If they don't know your there, or have worse aim/tracking skills, then sure, itll work, especially of their used to normal strafing. But if they're still better or have better guns, they'll still drop you because.... your strafing the same direction as them. The thing that's helping you is helping them too. Still improves tracking, but if they're better at tracking they'll still flatten you. Do correct me if I'm wrong, though, always looking to improve.
Additionally if most people strafe left and right... then aren't you just strafing the same way as them? You've essentially just said "Improve your aim by paying attention when you shoot"
Real quick if you're still struggling with this I'd reccomend reducing fov, I'm on console playing on a monitor and changed my fov to 100° its really helped me track other players and get more kills :)

I see people jumping way too late or early all the time when playing with randoms, so if you’re good at it then it can be good to increase your odds of getting jumpmaster by actually clicking the legend you want instead of letting it auto select

I honestly think the p2020 is good. It shoots as fast as you can click or pull the trigger basically and i have a good trigger finger. I've had situations where I would've lost if i had an smg instead of the p2020

"What comes next" isnt really a great way to view ur experience and skill. Theres always something u can improve on obivously, but remember that it isnt about collecting every skill or piece of knowledge to expand ur experience. Its about refining them. Maybe u can try different possibilities in ur next matches or just overall view it in a different way.
Does anyone think it make sense that the extra cost for silver on up is higher then in past ranking systems similar to season 20 and 21 to motivate player to work more twords placement rather then just focus on kills alone? Remember when gold was 24rp, plat was 36, diamond 48 and masters/ pred were 60? Would it be fair to say that because of the new higher costs that platinum is the new diamond or even the new masters/ pred based off old ranking standards and that diamond on up are a whole new level of really good players?

Depends on how adept they are. Most players aim will be behind so trailing your position and missing. Pros will reassess or compensate for that.

FYI this is the actual secret to good aim in apex (for controller and MnK). You don’t even have to move your mouse to beam people.
controller has 0.7 aim assist so they dont even need to use it bruh
