The Poly Capo changes the tone the lower you go. Its somewhat expected. This won't be the same for everyone, but when I set the Poly Capo up I found that the auto-EQ at 6.5 brought the tone back to roundabout where it was with the effect disengaged.
@uggles_mcfuggles The tech does exist now with MIDI or the Variax guitar, but I doubt it will be anywhere near possible to change pitch of individual strings from an analog source
Hey man ! Can we drop the tuning of only one string, for example the lowest string on a 7 string guitar to do be in drop A, without dropping the rest of the strings. Is that possible ? If so, how can we do it ? Thanks a lot man !
That's what I was looking for! Thanks a bunch :)
Glad I could help!
How can you tell anything with all the distortion
To be fair, in my applications it's primarily distortion but through my earphones and studio monitors there are differences
could you share your helix presets? thanks
Coming up soon.....
So which one do we use for what? Capo, poly pitch, and poly detune, etc?
This is best explained here -

Yeah sold!
Works great!!
Im gonna try this for helix stomp with a bass ,why always put the Auto Eq on 6.5?

So I could set this up for a bunch of different Sonic Youth tunings?
This will only take whatever tuning you are in and drop it down as a whole - not individual strings.
@@DarrenSMusic Aww shucks. I guess if we wait 5 more years the tech will probably get that far. Lol.

I tried the Pitch shifter on the Pod Go, unfortunately it warbles a lot. I don't think the processor is up to it. By the way are you from South Wales?
Yeah the tracking isn't great and it isn't polyphonic so I wouldn't recommend it. And yep! South Wales right here!
@@DarrenSMusic Cool I used to live in Ebbw Vale
@@TheTimeProphet and you left.... shocking behaviour
@@DarrenSMusic Steelworks shut down and my dad had no job. Ended up in the Midlands LOL
@@TheTimeProphet Ah you're still close enough to the border
How is the tracking on it? Do you notice much latency? How about when changing the response from stable to fast etc?
Tracking was absolutely fine with no noticeable latency in live or studio use :)
Hi Folks ... Another great Video ....
Much love my friend
Ok. Need
Get on it

no
I am afraid not. It will take whatever tuning your guitar is in and bump the whole thing down.
Yes it's possible, this guy is doing it: ruclips.net/video/WfQjydXhrUQ/видео.htmlsi=WPWV8v5cntIhLeDx&t=198
